Fair play this will be one boring dragged out final. I blame whoever built the tables. No centuries being made. Too much safety play I'm with Ronnie on this one. If this is the future of snooker I'm off. If this was a table like last years and before Jak wouldn't be in the quarter finals he would be out in the first round. He bores everyone to death. Glad I won't be watching this final. This will be the only time he wins this championship.

Jo Jaks is a very likeable man and I’m starting to lean towards him being my favourite player of them all. Sorry Ronnie 🙂

Remember a couple of years back he thought what could he do to be on the televised table / draw attention, looks like he figured out if you start winning tournaments (especially the WC) it’s enough, good for him wish him all the best for the final.

Kyren has really worked on his game from a technique perspective and has a very relaxed temperament. He deserves it from all the hard work he has put in,and he has experience in big tournaments to rely on, but I think it will be a great final as Jak is playing out of his skin.

Jones reaching final is a curious case, which will take years to make a sense of. Won 17 frames in SF without any 75+ break. That's almost impossible in any regular tournament. The tournament is more a test of patience rather than talent as players are not used to playing these long matches for 2 weeks straight. May be, That's why one gets these abnormal results.

Beautiful clearance... but I would have loved to see him struggle with the super tight table at the Crucible in 2024. Nothing is going in.

Jak reminds me of a goalie for the Redwings Steve Osgood. Early in his carrier he was terrible, and the fans booed him out of town. But late in his carrier he came back to the team as the back up to Hasak. In the first round of the playoffs the Wings had lost the first two games and were down 2 to nothing in game three so they brought in Osgood. He won that game and 9 more in a row and they won the Stanley Cup. He was the Jedi goalie, and he would not talk about the last game it was always the next game.

Don’t like the look of this guy, good player but looks so arrogant as a person. Maybe I could be wrong but just my gut feeling. Don’t think he’s getting past kyren, that guy is just a different breed.

I liked Quinten Hann he was a flamboyant bad boy. There was needle between the two throughout this match which boiled over at the end. I’d love to have seen a punch up in the Crucible. I wonder if quinten did actually wait outside for Hicks?.

Credit where it's due he's done well missed his match against xhang anda but he looks composed and did well to knock out si junhui who is probably China's best hope of a future world champion he will overtake ding junhui in time I think , to knock out trump is impressive was close then trump had 1 bad session he took advantage then to knock out Bingham who had just KO Ronnie ,got a good lead after the first cpl sessions and didn't look back fair play He's still the underdog I do think it's kyrens year but whoever can grab a 3/4 frame lead will win it I reckon it'll be neck and neck till the end or someone will take a lead by the first session on Monday that'll clinch it , been good tournament lot of shocks and just when U start to fancy someone ie Maguire, higgins it surprises U great sport and in terms of conparisin to football its really lije the english championship anyobe can pretty much beat anyone especially at crucible

Why is the snooker community so toxic ? They reached the finals because they played good snooker. Thats it. Stop whining because Ronnie or Trump or the other "greats" couldn't make it. Enjoy the sport man.

I'm a firm believer that it's just the 1% "Royal fanbase" screaming the loudest. Goes for any sport really. The Royals took a dump this year -too bad, go home. And I'm a Ronnie fanboy to boot...lol

I srsly don't understand snooker fan wanting one person to dominate, when it is literally in the name of sport to have different contenders every year, it makes it exciting. Ronnie winning once every 2 years is just boring to me, I want to see new faces come up in the block of World Champion.

Fantastic result. Just goes to show that no matter how good a players ability might be, it all comes down to the game they're playing in the moment. On another day, these results could have been very different. For those of you who are disappointed your favourites aren't in the final, I can hear the worlds smallest violin and it's playing just for you.

I cant wait to do this with my dad next time we play in our local club where finding a level table is often a bonus and after a few pints, its gonna be a laugh. Thing is though it was on its spot fine in the end, if you can see the red surely that was why you cried about it not being on its spot to start with. So what if it went on it easy the last time, if its on the spot properly its on it. Pot the red.
