  If we could get the water blowing wind turbines in there also to get a lot of water into the Air, that would bring lots of rain and help the global cooling clouds , needed to counter act the impact of the Industrial acrivities of China for the last 100 years. Some might even get out over the ocean and cool the Pacific inflow to the Artic circle waters of the Ocean ..

  Thanks. I'm always very much surprised when I come upon references to "mythical" creatures and beliefs of a semi-religious nature in a supposedly atheist nation like China. "Black Swan" events, including red skies, meteorites and the like. Ominous "signs" and omens that portend misfortune. Sometimes, l think it approaches "superstition" even. Here in the States, where I live, alot of people subscribe to astrology. That all seems kind of silly to me. I tend to be more logical, so numbers and numerology are about as close as l come to believing in the "unseen". Thanks again for your response. Cincinnati, Ohio USA

  I still remember the start of your channel and have been watching every video about the 3 gorges dam since then. I worked for the ABB company in the dam and had to be there when the generators were installed! The hall is enormous. Alone the main generators weigh around 6,000 tons and were designed for an output of 700 MW at a pressure head of 80.6 m. That was almost 20 years ago. Nice that you already have 16,000 subs 👍

  At ABB we supplied a lot of accessories for the turbines and the axle mounts. I once had to go to China to inspect one of our components. Had a pleasant time in China and Xi wasn't in power yet. This constant rise or fall in water level damages the structure. The dam has many passages and the turbines are housed in very large halls. There are heavy cranes on the dam that have to be moved to change the water level. And they act strangely, they open the floodgates when there is a small inflow of water, but not when there is a large inflow. wth?
