  Bears and the higher lvl wolves(growlers) at least. Not a great drop rate though.

  I hope pure iron nodes will come availaible outside of Lyonesse. Playing almost solo, this is a real bummer.

  You can find pure iron nodes outside pvp. Check the "pitted" zones. There's one on the west side on Ancien, and one of the other regions.

  Hello I enjoy your videos and learned a few neat tricks. I was wondering if you or anyone else know where to get the Consecrated Ground I items the Shiny Purple Ethereal Crystal and Multifaceted Ethereal Crystal, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

  I'm not sure where that boss is, but the "soul" ghost mobs drop the multifaceted crystals. If you're just looking for a lvl 1 consecrated ground, Hivetender drops some low lvl tailoring pants for that spell. We've found it in a bunch of the towers around tremen, at and near the windmill.

  Please explain getting beyond the catch-22 scenario of obtaining a Forge but not having the ability to create a steel Anvil head. I don't get it. If I cannot forge steel, how can I create the forge to create steel?

  16-20 is a bit of a pain, have to get our blacksmith making a LOT of wrought-iron buckles. Personally going with the headband not the bracers as it's a lot cheaper on hides to make. TBF, so long as you can make wrought iron, getting to 20 is not so bad. We are farming the rough hides from the wolf caves, something that we can do easily in a three now we have a few a heal over time, the healing coif, one Gambeson (atm, we can easily get more now) and 1 set of cantor pants for light + defense buff & 0.5 regen We can get between the three of us about 160 rough hides in ~90 mins which essentially is is filling our inventory with hides, colars etc... ATM before Tuesday 2nd patch, we are getting about 10-12 orange hides, which is painful given that everything post 20 needs boiled + combining orange hides below 20 is not guarenteed!

  Thanks for these videos. Biggest issue I have with this one is You say at level 2 switch to Rough Linen String. I almost always fail. I did Coarse Wool Yarn to 3, but still only have had 1 Rough Linen String. Why not Coarse Wool Yarn to 4, then Rough Linen String?

  You can absolutely push coarse wool yarn to 4, we just farmed so much flax to use that method instead to save our wool for the higher crafts. it's a lot easier to get an inventory of flax and spam that into harder crafts, then it is to get an inventory full of wool. rather use those for later crafts instead, but you can definitely bridge some xp with those crafts to make the flax ones easier for you if you want to. don't have to follow 100% of what i say as the only way to do it, if you have more of another resource just use that in combination!

  lol I love how so many of these tips are centered around the supposedly "bad" combat in this game. The combat is the best part of this game and I have been trying to pound of all of these tips into people's heads. The total lack of player organization (clan) control and plot/storage permissions is the most critical issue followed closely by the Crafting and then the fact that the game has no currency. I was extremely hopeful at the start of EA, but after spending some time seeing where Mainframe has invested their design efforts I am starting to feel more and more like this game is going the route of New World. Pax Dei *will not* compete well with games like BDO, ESO, GW2, FF14, or even New World if it continues down this road of "Pretend we're going to make a community-oriented sandbox MMORPG with a player-driven economy but instead simply create another stupid combat game". I do not care one iota about pulling mobs, positioning, or animation canceling my attacks anymore. There are a billion games that focus on that and yes they absolutely do it better. Killing computer enemies for no reason but to pump my numbers up is stale and Mainframe has an uphill battle if they think they're going to pull people away from games that have already perfected that experience.

  I liked Pax Dei but it lacks content because right now we are only repeating what is exist in the game. For pvp, it is almost no exist. We build a village but what is the purpose in long run and for end game? Half of the clan is at other regions or near border and rest is at the village and that half that is away from village make more progress than others because thy can access to resources faster... It is same for many really. There are dungeons but you race with other players too,what I mean is that people with a group that can play longer this game always 10 steps forward from everyone. I even don't mention about zerg guilds that use the members like slaves as it is similar in every mmorpg, you cannot fight against them or survive... We tried to go pvp zone for pure iron etc and zerg guild of 100 people wiped us... There is zero balance in this game...

  You can easily farm some fireball leather bracers "demon seekers bracers" by killing Entranced Exorcist. They spawn all over the place, solo, in the haunted woods areas and other places in the wildlands. Like everywhere! Stun him and move out of his aoe fire spell and he's easily soloable. There's another bracer that does the same thing, is cheaper to craft, called Firefly Bracer but you'll need to find Counter of Flies for that item. Entranced Exorcist is just way easier to find!

  We found an exit from one of the dungeons that lead out of a wolf cave completely across the map. I think some have it and others don't.

  We have dwindled down. We're about 6-10 still active in our clan I would guess. We do have some friends from other clans nearby that we will be trying to get some dungeon runs in with soon, to help with numbers and making our runs smoother. We've attemped some dungeons as a 6-8 man but it feels too tough and one thing going wrong risks so much, lol. Adjusting our strategies and having fun trying new things, though!

  I've already watched this like 4 times. You can technically skip gloves and go straight to shields for the push past 24 to avoid the leather needs, but the steel cost goes insane for that method. Not worth unfortunately..

  It is worth crafting a few steel choping axes, and pickaxes in the mid to low 20's. the boost to gathering will far out weigh the loss of materials from failed crafts. being able to harvest wood and heartwood en mass for charcoal early will significantly speed up the smelting process for both weapon and armor smithing.

  Solo play is definitely on the list of stuff I want to try, I just have not played solo yet. We have a smaller group of friends who are playing together in my clan, and I am really enjoying playing with them. This game really shines with a few buddies. It is a whole other challenge to do this all solo. Once my friends get bored of the game, I'm sure I will try out a completely solo experience, but until then, I will be focusing on enjoying my clan while I can.

  you said start making steel ingots at 21, but your image shows it to be level 22, how did you get from 21 to 22? I am at 21 and these is no option to forge steel ingots, just sword blade, which takes 10 wrought iron bars, if so this will be a pain

  I am at 21 but no option for steel ingots, not an option in my big furnace, do you have to be level 22, if so what do you use to level everything is trivial except sword blades and they take 10 wrought iron bars, gonna be a pain.

  Have you picked up Pure Iron Ore? You should have the option to queue up steel ingots in the upgraded furnace at level 9 if I'm not mistaken. Try repairing the launcher or verifying game files on Steam to see if it helps your recipes showing up. Not sure if that will work, but it's work a shot.

  i wonder how your teammate can heal with wearing the chainmail hat. I got the healing with a tailored hat out of cotton. cant wear both Oo - thank for the vid.
