Tinderbox is Siouxsie's most guitar oriented album. It's fucking depressing that JVC did not last longer and didn't got the love he deserved. He really took the band's sound to an unknown territory for them.

0:47 Sorry Siouxsie but you're wrong. The Banshee (Beann-Sídhe) is from the Irish pre-Christain Celtic religion. The Month she would be 'celebrated' is November (Samhain), the beginning of November being the start of the Celtic new year. Modern Chritianity renamed it All Souls day.

Never forget how brilliant Siouxsie was and her forerunner Lene Lovitch. Now let's talk about NOT BEING RECOGNIZED as the first and THE influence on others including Kae Bush, Nina Hagen and Siouxsie!

One thing about punk rock is that they had personality if not musical talent, Souxsie and the Banshees were actually good at the music skills as well. I never considered Souxsie music as “punk rock” even if she may have considered herself as that. Don’t get me wrong, I like Souxsie better than any “punk rock”

Mia's sister- From Wiki: "...actress Mia Farrow's sister, Prudence Farrow, who became obsessive about meditating while practising with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Her designated partners on the meditation course, Lennon and George Harrison, attempted to coax Farrow out of her seclusion, which led to Lennon writing the song.

They simply didn't want to be labeled. Like the Cocteau Twins. Post punk, Goth, Shoegaze. They we're creating a different sound that would be appreciated for generations.
