    What parts? Also as long as it makes it to the ISS, if the ship is damaged they will catch a ride back on Dragon.

    Normal for Starlink this launch was delayed 4 hours from day to night. Much less favorable for photo. Report for 6-60 is a 3 hour delay making the Sun high enough that the rocket flew into it at T0+90 sec. Also ground haze was bad maybe Peacock Pocket brush fire. Someone please pickup the garbage left behind here. The flies are terrible. If you know where this is you know it's getting much worse.

    Personally, I think the moonscape was beautiful. Loved the flashback too (especially that dolphin). Hate to admit I don't even step out the front door to watch the Starlink launches anymore, but I do love watching the boosters come back to the Cape. Next time I come down for a launch I'll stop by to say hi.

  • @drewdundon7406
    @drewdundon740615 күн бұрын

    @@andrewmcfarland57 No my subjects are not so fast moving. Are you claiming that the moon is moving at 5,000 mph relative to the camera? I'd like to see where you got your numbers. I just think that this picture of the moon could be stunningly rich in details, but apparently I'm the only one.

  • @andrewmcfarland57

    @@drewdundon7406 My bad. I obviously was thinking about the rocket. It was a kneejerk reaction to a complaint that seemed to completely disrespect how much time, energy and money this person puts into his truly fantastic tracking shots of launches. It never occured to me to give a sh*t about an admittedly and relatively insignificant lunar shot that, yes, could have been done better by half the photographers on earth. There's an idiom in English, "Miss the forest for the trees." I assume you have a portfolio of awesome lunar shots. Can you give us a url? Pease.

    It's funny to think that decades from now people will mock us for getting so excited about a landing rocket, like people in the 1920's got so excited about cars with 40 horsepower.
