That first file handle you said looked handmade looked like a cellulose acetate handle that was maybe lathed down by the owner at some point. they're really cool in my opinion.

A real mix of stuff today. Sad to see the state of some of it even if it is not of the highest quality. That 10" adjustable is about the best piece in the lot. It's even got my initials scribed in it.

The right angle torch is an older one. You can tell because there are no guards on the sides of the switch. I made a series of restoration videos about an old one like that.

Those came out Awesome Ant! I'd say I like the Stanley twins the best. But I don't know. The red is nice and so is the blue. But i think I'll stick with my original though the Stanley's in Black. Excellent job. Looking forward to seeing that tool haul and I got some things to add to your collection.

Them yellow handled screwdriver im sure are german made but for the life of me carnt remember the name and them bsutiful scissors with the orange paint are either for cutting fabric or i think are decorators scissors try and find a name something on the lines of harris. The hammer is a welders chiping hammer still have mine,made in metal work at school around 1989 before h&s went mad.We even made cast aluminium handels for hack saws.

Love those footprint screwdrivers. You faired much better than I did at the estate auction I attended yesterday. I got priced out of more than a few items. Then because I hate coming home empty handed paid a bit more than I wanted for a few others.

The hammer is a welders hammer for knocking off scale and reducing stress of a new weld. It seems to be especially common or used with stick welding.

That hammer, is the head magnetic? I ask because it looks like an upholsterer hammer which are magnetic, you pick a tack up with it and one handed put the tack through the fabric into the frame whilst holding the fabric tight with the other hand. Would love to see the spokeshaves done up.

Been to a car boot today first time in a few years. One guy had a hugh box of screwdrivers 3 for a quid i was like ferret down a drain pipe. I makeing the red handled stanley screwdiver set up guess what he had the ones i didnt have like bloody christmas day. Plus im makeing a tool box up for me lad whos away in the army at the minute on exercise with the army. All the best buddy

Nice tool haul Ant, I think the hammer is a welder’s chipping hammer for removing the slag after the weld has been laid down
