Charge Your Heart - this describes it perfectly! That feeling of genuine joy whilst listening to the birds in the morning, sitting on the shore of a beach, walking in a forest of green, sunrays hitting your skin on a cool morning.... has always made my heart feel so alive and happy and full! And I always wondered why it didn't affect other people the same way.
Doing nothing productive is what I need to practice. Scheduled time when there are no demands. Otherwise, I'll just be forced to stop due to illness. How much better to schedule rest, enjoyable and restorative activities.
Your energy is beautiful and one of a kind.
😊
I love having a toaster. I used to do everything by oven, including toasting bread. But getting a toaster recently has changed my life. I make toast in 30 seconds, which helps this busy lady.
I do relate with this. These days each second is about achieving something. So I recently realized by my own that we have forgotten what ' just being ' meant. This is nice to hear that something like this actually exists cutirally.
Born and raised in Amsterdam. I’m retired, so my whole life is basically niksen.
Thank you! I really needed this. Especially your third tip, i knew about it already, but i keep forgetting. Thank you ~~ ❤❤❤
The algorithm brought me here. I am Dutch! I love that I didn't know there is a verb for what I do during the weekend. I call it "opladen" or (recharge) "bijkomen" (recover) or "pyjama-day". 😅 But I didn't resonate with what you told about "stinken in huis". I think that saying is really regional. 😊
Your hair looks great, Vera ❤
One thing I see you haven't let go of is your stunningly beautiful looks!😍
I'm 45 and I'm happy about it. It doesn't matter how old you look, It does matter how good you look in your age.
I was born in Hilversum in 1950. I live in Australia since 1951. I admire the Dutch because they are mult cultural. I love how they can ride their bikes in safety and freedom. Sadly my dutch language in no longer perfect when my parents passed away I no longer had any one to speak dutch with. I still consider myself as a dutchie
At noon I lie down on my bed for 20 minutes and this reduces a lot of stress even tho I'm not even sleeping
Maybe clothes but for now I stop buying clothes. Thank you for this video.
no
i actually have my doubts about smartfoons
I am gonna work on carving out time to not do anything. I haven’t been doing that lately, but always did so good when I was. This is good friendly reminder. Thanks
6:15 such a graceful way to approach this particular topic.
❤Hi VERA in the NETHERLANDS. Reading is a big thing for me too. Right now, I'm into a LOT of poetry. KATIE ❤️ KENTUCKY😊!
I think highly sensitive people are maybe just undiagnosed autistic people. I say that as an autistic person.
Thank you I felt good watching it 🌷
nature walk is a good way to destress
Thank you. I understand myself a bit better now.
I hung a peg board in my hall way. I pin up pictures of my kids and grandchildren's school pictures. Their art work also goes there. It keeps it in one spot, it's easy to update and always a pleasure to look at.
Some times, I got it for free
Good video.Good coments here. I started to watch it just to improve my English, but now I'm really interested in it.
I just discovered you. Your voice alone is calming and peaceful. Your content is like the icing on top.
I realized that minimalism is not for me but the mindset that I can just quit a thing Ike competition and negative stuffs I'm gonna carry it☺️☺️
I always get very calm doing my make-up, hair or nails. Because I have to focus a little, my brain doesn't go everywhere and it is little enough to not really having to concentrate❤
Thank You Vera for another beautiful you and inspirational video😊as always pleasant to watch❤❤❤
Your 20-minute-long video - while enlightening - is not very efficient. (With this comment, I am practicing the Dutch traits of directness in communication and valuing efficiency.)
