This was so much fun to watch. I love all the different paint layers you add - adds so much dimension. I also think all the paintings at the end that you were not keen on could all be fixed into something you will like too 😊

For your acrylic paints to not dry as quick, use a slow drying medium! It works so well for my acrylics :) I use the liquitex brand

My first year painting teacher in art school also said never to use black out of a tube and we all had to mix our own dark colors for still lifes we did. He also said not to mix black out of the tube with other colors too because the color gets too muddy :) (unless you are going for that, and I can't lie I did mix black a few times.) So I think that is a good tip! I love your painting style, its so nice and this video was so relaxing.

All of your artworks - from this cute little collage tags to your paintings deserve an exhibition. You are one of the greatest artist I have seen, just because you live and thrive by what you do. Everything has your vibe, colors, textures... I am watching your films for so many years and I love that you still have so much peace and joy in everything you do. I can see in my imagination your exhibition, all the space filled with your creations, Installations. I probably coudn't see it live because I live in Poland, Europe but it would be just amazing! Thank you for so many inspirations 🌺🎨♥

So many good ideas! I have a question though, what do you do with all the art you make? I have a problem where I make tons of art. Ideas are not a problem but afterwards, I feel like I'm drowning in it. I also make art for fun, for therapy and not for monetization. I've tried that and it just steals creativity. Plus, we have to become a content creator first and artist second to sell the work. But lately I feel I have to throw out a lot of stuff out and with it, a lot of money because even when using affordable (though not the cheapest) materials, creativity is expensive. I wonder how you manage all the things you create. You're really prolific!

  • @JordanClark

Thank you for this comment! Right now I'm storing most of my work in boxes in my studio. I don't keep everything though- I like to recycle old paintings/canvases that I'm not happy with to make new art (which helps save some $$ and also gives a new life to something that probably would have been tossed). Eventually I'd like to sell some work to also clear up space, but it is definitely difficult to balance making art for fun and monetizing it. I agree creativity can be expensive, so I'm a big fan of using whatever you can get your hands on to make art! It's also a fun challenge to see what you can make with things you find around the house. ❤
