Hi- you mentioned adding weight to your dry dropper setup. Where do you add the weight and wouldn’t it submerge the dry?

Great video. Wondering what size tippet you were using and size of the perdigon dropper on such a clear stream. Thanks!

My eyes ... "Beautiful river. Great fish. Let's go." My knees ... "Oh, you have to be a mountain goat to get in there."

Been following you for a long time on your western tours (I'm in CO). But over the past few years I've been targeting local common carp and now I'm trying to up my game to catch grassies. Your instructional videos are amazing. Thanks.

I live these adventures through you. I love small stream fly fishing; always been my favorite, even over Saltwater. But I’m pretty limited to roadside streams now at 66 and obese with a few health problems. My main goal now is to lose about 80 pounds so I can still enjoy those times. Until then, keep posting, it’s almost like I’m there.

I have a similar truck setup, a 2004 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4WD with a shell. I need to get a mattress for it though, I presently use a camping pad and sleeping bag, kind of hard. I think you have a video showing your setup, need to check it out again.

Thanks Drew for another excellent video. You must have a 6th sense for finding good trout fishing water. I really appreciate you not using a bobber, ie an indicator. The indicator eliminates strike detection, what's becoming a lost art. Might as well use a spinning rod; it casts better.

Today I Caught a three pound brown trout in a brook that’s 4 feet wide and a foot deep, and I caught it by casting into a pipe the goes under a road. Not my biggest but definitely most impressive just based on the location
