  Happy new year!! I love to follow your progress. I think it’s amazing that you guys came from a different country and remodeled two houses and working possibly on a third or fourth that’s amazing. !! I follow other people renovating in Italy and it’s so beautiful. I have learned about terra-cotta floors are hard to keep up with they get stained easy and you have to wax them this and that, so one of the folks I follow discover they have terra-cotta porcelain tiles that they can use to keep the look of the the old, and I think that’s a wonderful idea!! I love an open concept like the American style open to the living room dining room all one big room I like that better than little rooms around the Italian houses so I’m sure you guys will do a wonderful job and good luck and I’ll be following your progress. I love Italy. I want to move there but it’s kind of difficult right now, so my plan is to travel three months at a time And I’d love Tuscany I’ve been there several times!!❤

What price range do you look for when acquiring a property? 2. How much do you budget for the renovation per square meter? 3. How do you determine the quality level you want to afford? 4. Do the properties cash flow once they are rented? Is this a business or just for fun? 5. What is your expected return on investment timeline?

  Greetings from Tremezzina. What’s on my mind is whether fractional ownership represents an opportunity for discerning older expats who want to remain living in Italy as they age. Or whether this type of ownership would be attractive to older people who want to live between their country of origin and Italy as they grow older. Imagine a villa property in Italy developed to include a small number of independent high quality living apartments which provide home to an older group of people who share a common interest. A community of people who collaborate and combine their resources to purchase, develop and maintain the property and fund all the services they need such as housekeeping, cooking, gardening, health and wellbeing, etc. An alternative to residential age care. A modern day ‘Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’. I can imagine there must be a group of people who would be attracted to this kind of lifestyle.

  en skam i ikke har lavet den på dansk. man skal jo sidde og tænke hele tiden. 😓😆 det min store drøm at få mig sådan en greenlien 40 hybrid. en rigtig flåt farve i har fået den i. hvad har i af + og - at sige om den? kunde i lave en video med jeres tanker om den? kommer i til dk med den på et tidspunkt? det seføldig ikke så sjovt med al den regn vi har haft her i sommers men vi havde da et godt forår og der har da været et par gode weekender i løbet af sommeren. så man har da ikke været landkrappe hele året. 🤠

  Good question actually…. We didn’t really have any other options. We don’t find any other in that size interesting 🤔 Almost all others look alike. We like the more classic look. No other have the hybrid system.

  You have created a beautiful place for yourselves. Congratulations! What a challenge to start with a ruin. It has taken many years. I really enjoy the part where you can see the division between the old house and the new. My son has just purchased a home not far from you, just north of the town of Asti. We worked for a month to plan the remodel and will return after receiving the permits from the municipality. So in the spring our own Italian Piedmontes home restoration shall begin. Such a beautiful area.
