Turning 50 and saying to my wife we should tour Italy to look at holiday / retirement houses and having started to learn to sail and watching sailing and canal videos I am so excited to have found you this morning. @@livingthevillas When you see what has been happening to all people's lives on the face of the Earth, in just the last 3 years, can you imagine what it will be in even 10 years from now? If you have the ability to "work from home", either in your current job, or through another job you are qualified for, then you can live anywhere in the world you want. Especially at your younger age. I am almost 69 and on social security, and would love to figure out how to live in Italy.

You seem like a lovely couple and I love what you're doing. I'm excited to see where you go in the future

Hi guys, great to find your channel. As a 56 year old I’m looking at the next chapter of life and am trying to plan a new way forward. I’m currently renovating (remotely) a property in Puglia. If all goes well, I would like to add another property (maybe in Umbria). Ultimately I’d like to split my time between those properties and here in the US with the goal of earning a little income from the properties when I’m away. I look forward to learning how you do it…..especially managing your properties from afar. 😊

We have three advice for investment 1) buy real estate 2) buy real estate 3) buy real estate And then: Live beyond your means regarding your home. You must enter on the level you are able to, and in time you will be able to get the home you want. It is a tough ride - especially for you youngsters…. Move often - every 2 or 3 years. Ciao Cath

Hi there, what a great way of life you guys put together. I wanted to do the same for years! I have a beautiful villa on the island of Capri and looking for people that want to invest in it. The villa could be rented for about 10 to 15 k a week, depending on ability to put in a pool! My sister and brother want out, but I can't buy them out. The house has a view that makes you fall in love, too bad I can't add pics here. 3 cars parking and 4 bedroom. Anybody interested?

Hi guys, I love your channel. I can totally relate to your concept of a 'new way of living' (forgetting the daily office grind) and integrating the things that you love to do in your life on a full time basis- real estate development/ management, design/ decorating, hospitality, and of course, family. These loves are my life. I am divorced and working for a private commercial real estate investment/ development company in New York City. I have 3 grown daughters on their own. My future is now! I have been manifesting moving to Italy and I am working towards my dual citizenship. I'm trying to figure out a way to move there- I will have to work. It's so funny that you ask about running a B&B. I have definitely thought about the possibility of going in that direction or as a property manager since I have related experience. For many years while I was married and my children were small, I renovated/ decorated and managed the rental of our beach holiday homes in Martha's Vineyard as well as a multi-unit efficiency motel beach property in Southern New Jersey. I've managed other personal properties and those of my current and past employers. I don't know where to start to search for these opportunities. Any suggestions?

Hi Yaroslav, we just got the boat delivered this year. In this year’s winter parking is a working on the boat from the ship yard. Indoor parking cost is around 2-3.000 euro for a winter. Thanks for watching our channel. Ciao, Erik

Hi 👋 We did a lot of research on the internet and then it came up. We wanted a boat that could pas the bridges and the narrow locks in the French waterways.
