Hi dude, great video, thank you. Do you have any Suggestionen except rode ngt 3. Have you had any Experience with oktava mk-012-0 /02? , I need a mic about 50-300€ for above my head (boom)😅
I’m not familiar with that mic specifically, but how you use the mic is wayyy more important than what mic you use. Its all about getting the mic as close to the speaker as possible, and as long as you do that, just about any mic is going to sound great. My recommendation would personally be the rode video mic ntg which should be right around your price range I think. If you need a stand too within that budget, I’d probably get a neewer c stand, a cheap book pole, and rode Video micro. Again, I think all that would stay within your budget. 😄
@@VisionaryFilmStudios Perfect, thank you for the tips. Ok, I think I'll buy all three things that you mentioned. I've seen that the Rode mic NTG can be connected with the camera. That makes editing easier. Thanks🙏🙏
Halfway through the vid and holy this guy can keep my attention span and explain things in an easy manor. Def underrated
Appreciate the support friend!! 🙌🏻🔥
man dude, that intro was amazing, i loved it, feels like i am watching a home imporvement show, not in a bad way it was sick haha
Appreciate that haha 💪🏻🔥🔥
Professional video dude. Ive seen your video twice but i didnt understand everything because of my English skils😂. What cheap but good lens can you please recommand me for zv e10? I wanna film me standing and only the top of my body (shoulder and head).
The sigma 30mm f1.4 is the lens for you 😉 The most recent video on the channel right now is all about that lens specifically
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thank you sir. After my comment Ive seen a video of you, in which you said, that the only one lens you need ist 30mm and I wanna buy it. I subscribed you and hope I learn from you how I can made professional video😊

I just got my ZV-E10 about two weeks sgo w/o the kit lens. Instead, I got a Viltrox 20mm f/2.8 and I love it! I definitely plan on getting a Sigma as well!
Solid choice! Glad it’s treating you well 🔥🔥
hey i have sigma 56 is it okay i get sigma 30 or should i get sigma 16 for videography as for budget i feel this sigma lens are good for filming
I think either lens will treat you really well! It does depend on what you’re shootings a bit, but if it were me and I already had the 56mm, I’d probably get the 16mm so I could switch back and forth between the wide angle and some tighter shots. But then again I had all three when I shot My Story, the short film I made with the ZV-e10, and I only used the 30mm and 56mm. At the end of the day, I don’t think there’s a wrong decision though, either lens will be a great addition to your kit 😉
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thank you sir for this advice
Straight forward pros and cons, personal opinion, broad truth, amazing video !

great video!
Thank you!! 😄🙏🏻
Been trying to decide on a camera as a videography beginner for weeks. This video made the decision for me : ) v helpful - thank you!
So glad I could help! I know you’ll love the camera 😄
Nice twist.
Nice video, very informative. Thank you
You got it 🔥
like how many hours does a single battery last on a 4k recording?
To just press record and let it roll I’m not entirely sure. I’ve had it go for an hour to and hour and a half no problem. If you’re starting and stopping the recording I’ve had it last several hours. Now I use Sony LP batteries to remote power it via usbc, and the batteries I use for that will comfortably last a 12 hour shoot day where the camera is powered on for most of it (but not rolling the whole time)
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thank you so much I've nearly watched every zve10 video thinking to sell my nikon d5100 and buy a zve10!
wow one of the best video for beginner on youtube

It appears the new ZVe10 Mark II is due out this year, perhaps in August 2024. There were rumors that production on this (ZVe10) camera was halted due to chip shortages. I'm not sure if they worked that out, but if not, it would make this camera hard to find.
Those chip shortages aren’t an issue anymore 😉 I’m not concerned about availability over the next 5-10 years on this camera unless something crazy happens. Can’t wait for the mkii though!
Right now I actually have the Sony Zv-e10 and I didn’t get the stock lens. I’m using the sigma 16mm. If I were to get another lens, would you get a prime lens or the 16-50 mm lens?
I’d probably steer clear of the kit lens if you don’t already have it honestly. It’s a cheap option but the quality tends to reflect that. I’d probably grab the sigma 16-55 f2.8 if you can swing it. Really solid all around lens that you’ll be able to use for about anything, especially since you’ve already got a great prime lens. But you can’t go wrong with the sigma 30mm either and it’s a bit cheaper ;) Hope this helps! 😄🔥
Thanks!!
In 40 seconds, the amount of transitions you had about gave me a headache. A little overkill on the editing
Thanks for the informative video, i bought this camera to use it for cooking videos but im feeling a bit frustrated cause the focus of the camera keep switching between my hands and other equipment while working which doesn’t make the video look smooth and professional, I don’t know if this is the wrong the camera for this type of filming or maybe I’m doing the wrong sitting, but as i know that the intelligent auto mode is the one recommended which I use, i would really appreciate your reply.
Gotcha, yeah that definitely sounds frustrating. What focus mode are you using? I haven't had this problem personally, but I'd definitely recommend making sure you have face detection turned on in the camera and that you don't have it in product showcase mode. Here's a video that goes really in depth on the sony focus settings, hopefully it helps. I didn't make this video but it's great content. kzread.info/dash/bejne/loahupSqj6fTipc.html
@@VisionaryFilmStudios thanks a lot
broo how the hell do u mount the rail plate under the zve10, the cage doesnt have the right holes for it
Did you use my links and get the small rig cage? It should have 2 quarter twenty holes that you can use to screw the base plate for the rail system to. I can do a quick recording and show if that’s help you out
is it normal to get artifacts on the hlg 3 when moving the camera fast in low light ? like i get blocky colors when i change to cine 4 it only the noise pls help
Great question! So I’d expect to be seeing artifacts in either color mode. Usually, artifacts from fast movements are related to the codec your using to record, not the color settings in the camera. If you did the same movement using both picture profiles. I’d expect to see some artifacting in either. The low light shouldn’t be affecting it either actually, but a higher ISO might make it more prominent and noticeable. In other videos talking about the ZVe10, I’ve noted that the ZVe10 is definitely an incredible camera, but one of its limitations is fast camera movements like you need for sports shooting or action scenes (or whatever you’re shooting). Not that you can’t still shoot nice footage of those things with the camera, but you will start to see some of its limitations when it comes to things like rolling shutter or artifacts. Unfortunately, there is no other codec options for the ZVe10, which means you’re stuck with the h264 compression on this camera. You might be able to connect a ninja v to it for recording, which would fix the artifacts if you record in pro res, but I don’t think the ninja v works with the ZVe10. But I could be wrong about that, it may work with the ZVe10, I’ve just never tried it. Probably not the answer you were hoping for but I hope this helps nonetheless!
Well explained 😇
Thank you! 🙏🏻
How is it that this channel doesn't have at least 1 million subs??
We’re on the way 🙏🏻
@@VisionaryFilmStudios for sure!
@@VisionaryFilmStudios you just earned one more 😁
If I wanted to upgrade my zve10 to maybe a full frame camera, which one you would you suggest?
You can’t go wrong with an fx3 / a7Siii, but the fx30 is just a great, but not ff 😉 That’s my recommendation for primarily shooting video at least.
so informative

3:30 my options on camera are only 25p 100m and 25p 60 million
Sounds like you’re not in the US 😉 a lot of other countries use different encoding standards called PAL, you’re camera is setup for those standards. You want 25p 100m 👍🏻

Never had heating issues with direct streaming Via HDMI and OBS with dummy battery. Even for 24h
Yeah I’ve never had an issue with streaming even for 4+ hours (never done 24 though haha, props to you for that), just recording 4k internally without stopping the recording at all.
Tqs... A lot... ❤.. I have Sony zve10 still now I making short films with kit lens 16mm to 55 mm now I going to try 56 mm lens to make short films ❤❤

Great video! Can you attach this rig to a scorp mini gimbal?
You probably could leave the cage on it, but I doubt that the scorp could handle the whole rig. It’s a bit big even for my RS2 with all the rigging on it. But the scorp can definitely handle the e10 with just the cage.
Ok thanks so much
I watched your videos a few months ago, and bought the zv-e10 with sigma 30mm 1.4 and as a beginner film maker it’s pretty decent, it does have some limitations but you can still get decent results
Every camera has limitations, even the expensive ones! Love the results that comes out of me e10 despite the drawbacks
Thanks
You got it 💪🏻
What do you mean when you say “ shooting in log form?”
Log is basically a special color setting that preserves detail in the brightest and darkest parts of an image. It makes it so that in editing you can adjust the colors to look more natural. It’s not something I recommend for ZV-e10 shooters though, which is why I say to plan on avoiding it when shooting on the e10 in this video!
great Video! 6:33 I don´t know what Kit Lens you have, but mine is a Sony 16-50mm, not a 16-55mm.🙃 But I don´t have to use it anymore because I finally bought a used Tamron 28-75mm F2.8😍
Oof my bad, yep the 16-50mm is what I meant. Love the tamron! Don’t have one personally but I know a few guys who do and make some great stuff with it
Yo bro, it’s nice that you could help people be creative with the minimal amount of money. But, why are you wearing all those heavy clothes, is there no heat in that room? Pay your electric bill. Iol.
I actually wear it for camera- the reflections off the leather brighten the shot up. I’ve thought about making a video about it and talking about how wardrobe affects picture quality. I’m usually dripping sweat by the end of a shoot though lol that’s no fun, at least this video was recorded in February when it was cold outside and easy to cool off
Sorry to have many questions, I got all the parts but the monitor, I'm trying to get the following Portkeys PT6 Camera Field Monitor 5.2" 600nit but I see the output is 1080/60 HDMI and not 4K/30 as the one you listed. Should I be concerned by the output? The PT6 seems to be a better version of the PT5. Please let me know thanks.
Hey Daniel! Love the questions! No need to apologize. I’ve had it on my list all last week to look into this but things were pretty intense, so I’m just getting back now sorry about that. So either monitor should treat you well. The PT6 hadn’t been released yet when I first got the PT5, which is why I don’t mention it in any of my videos. But since neither do external recording and are just for monitoring the footage & applying luts if desired, the difference between a 4k display and 1080 display really shouldn’t make a huge impact on anything. Unless you’re passing the signal through the monitor to another recorder, in which case I *think that you will still be fine either way as the fine print of the PT6 that I’m seeing does say it supports 4k input as well as 1080. If you buy on Amazon, you could always give it a test and send it back if you aren’t happy 😊 hope this helps!
Easily explained the informations. I can feel the difference between full frame and a cropped one but as a beginner i will go with cropped one.
I wouldn’t be so sure about the full frame being better, the cameras they use in Hollywood are mostly crop sensor cameras after all 😉 Here’s a video I made about why I think you should get the ZVe10 instead of the a7Siii: Is the Sony ZV-e10 JUST AS GOOD as the Sony a7Siii? kzread.info/dash/bejne/oX6e082sYa22Z7w.html

@@DanielsStation you got it! Let me know if you have any specific questions 💪🏻
@@VisionaryFilmStudios Do you have any video how to use two Sony ZV-E10 or FX30 cameras to work together? Say I'm recording an interview live and want different angles to show during the live, a wide view then a close up. What do you recommend?
@@DanielsStation I don't own an FX30 personally so I haven't made any videos including it specifically, but I have worked with it before. Here would be my recommendation. I'd set up the ZV-e10 on the wide with something between 16 and 30mm. Then the FX 30 on the closer shot (probably something like a medium close up, and you can always crop in a bit if you want a closer shot) on lens between 30 and 70mm. On the FX30 I'd use S Cinetone (PP11) and on the ZV-e10 I'd use the custom picture profile I recommend at 3:20 in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKZtk7aip5TXorA.htmlfeature=shared&t=200 And then when you edit everything, you'll put your ZV-e10 clip on your first video layer and your FX30 on the second video layer, and then turn off the visibility of your second video layer. Then whenever you want to cut to the FX30 shot, you can just raise that section of the clip onto the visible third video layer. Makes for an easy way of syncing the footage once and then cutting back and forth between your two camera angles. I could send a quick screen recording of an example if you'd like, this is how I edit most of my KZread videos. I do have an older video about how to shoot video interviews, so I'll go ahead and link it below. I go into lighting and sound along with the camera setup for interviews in that video so it definitely could be helpful.
