Ricky. We both studied Philosophy at university. You are asking too much of Brits or most humans for that matter. I like your humour as it shows Intelligence. It also shows that like me you agree that studying Western Philosophy is the most important subject of all. I can't understand most of what politicians say. Hot meaningless air. Before studying Philosophy I always spoke rubbish. After studying Philosophy at Exeter I continued to speak rubbish but at least I knew it was rubbish. That's important. I have been watching Ricky for years, listened to to all the old xfm podcasts years ago, watched all idiot abroad episodes, the lot. I love them all, of course I understand the humour. My comment , based on years of watching all of Ricky's stuff, is Ricky constantly bangs the drum of being atheist at every opportunity and has for ever. It's not his comedy material, it's his constant pushing of his spiritual, or non spiritual agenda. Gets old, I get it by now
