  I'm sorry to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. If it helps you so far, I've checked the voltage step down (72v to 12v), and that's not it , I also checked all the connectors, not it, I've swapped the alarm module (had problem with it in the past and I bought extra ones) guess what, not it, I'm running out of options, if anyone thinks of something please say it. I'm open to any suggestions.

  i'm at the point where i'm just gonna sell it for "parts" and if there's no bite i'm gonna try and donate it to a college that has an electrical engineering program and maybe they can probably play with it and learn from it.

  my throttle is choppy now too. i asked my mechanic if there's something he can do but he said he doesn't work on electric bikes. i have no choice but to sell it on craigslist for parts. i don't wanna deal with the stress anymore. its been a fun 1400 miles though.

  i've emailed metacycle about this issue but they never got back to me. i also wrote in forums but no response. i kept mine parked in my backyard and i'd hear the alarm go off randomly even though nothing is touching it so i swapped out my other bike in the shed and put the metacycle in hoping the sound of the alarm won't be too loud but i still hear it randomly go off sometimes. i'm sure my neighbors are annoyed but they haven't said anything.

  i dont. i only use it to commute to work and back. i've found a couple working outlets at my parking garage so it helps to plug in before work and unplug during lunch.

  @@smithlongworth7389 I just found your channel and I really like seeing u ride thru LA, places I know well. And, I'm sorry to see on your other videos about the problems you've had with the Sonders. I've had a couple of e-bikes (not expensive like the Metacycle, around $1k-$1.5k) but the scary thing about those is that they work fine for months at a time, until one day they don't. Granted I rode my e-bikes a lot commuting on them, but they aren't as reliable as regular bikes IMO. And if you're not an electrician there's just no telling WTF is going on. The infrastructure for repairs just isn't there yet, neither is the range, and I'm so much happier with good old ICE bikes, which I first started on 2yrs ago. Ride safe bro.

At this point I personally would prefer a refund to actually getting the bike, I will seek out a different way to join the green motorcycle movement while I continue to enjoy my current ICE bike (Honda ST1300 - I really do want an electric bike for commuting) Following is the cover latter sent to the Los Angeles District Attorney (LA DA), after that is an invitation to join the complaint against Sondors. Over 30 folks have already shared their contact information and I will continue to send updates to the LA DA as more join. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ LOS ANGELES COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE Consumer Protection Division 211 West Temple Street, Suite 1000 Los Angeles, California 90012 11.29.23 Ladies and Gentlemen, I am updating my earlier complaint. The original complaint was sent by certified mail and received by your office on 11.28.23 (2:59pm). This updated complaint includes the contact information of 12 additional victims. The update reflects additional victims of sondors, this complaint now represents over $100,000 in damages. I originally posted the request for additional victims to come forward on 11.15.23 - less than 3 weeks ago. I expect this to grow and I will update this complaint as I receive notification from other victims.
