Sorry to see that. It could have been much worse. I had a Sondors Metacycle also but I sold it. It just didn't meet my expectations in terms of the riding experience. Hopefully they get back to you on that. At least you also have the Honda Rebel 1100 DCT!

thank you! i'm curious, how much did you sell it for? so far i have 1300 miles on the metacycle. i'm hoping to fix this problem.

@@smithlongworth7389 I had bought it when it was the initial pricing and sold for around the same. I didn't make much of a profit b/c I had paid it off and by the time it was finally delivered, I had some expenses that needed to be paid. If I felt if was worth keeping, I would have made it work with my financial situation at the time. You can see what a few of them are going for on CycleTrader.

i understand. so far i've put 1300 miles on mine. all city miles, of course. but as of now, i'm leaning toward selling it once i figure out this electrical issue.

I'm sorry to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. If it helps you so far, I've checked the voltage step down (72v to 12v), and that's not it , I also checked all the connectors, not it, I've swapped the alarm module (had problem with it in the past and I bought extra ones) guess what, not it, I'm running out of options, if anyone thinks of something please say it. I'm open to any suggestions.

i'm at the point where i'm just gonna sell it for "parts" and if there's no bite i'm gonna try and donate it to a college that has an electrical engineering program and maybe they can probably play with it and learn from it.

I have an electrical issue as well. Mine won't engage from park to drive. I've had mine since November with no issues until 2 days ago.

smh. sondors is still radio silent about the metacycle. how many miles do you have on yours?

Well I have not experienced that as yet. a volt meter will be useful with the knowledge of how to use one. I suspect 12 v issues. not sure which voltage the instruments run on but they're still there. just check the shop manual that came with it😂😂😂 I plan to mess with mine this winter in the shed. good luck!

Make sure it’s not the bulb or led light probably went out or you may have rode the bike in the rain . Let’s figure it out because I’m getting mine this Monday .

@@smithlongworth7389 haven’t got my bike yet I’m getting it Monday when I take a look at it in person I’ll let you know if you can switch out the led light maybe it’s no good . Check all your wires from the back tire and front see if anything is torn .

i have 3 eletric motorcycles , let it dry will go back to normal . try to stay out of rain . my 10k w lithuim chinese motorcycle does well in rain not my otherr 2, im thinking of buying 1 of theses @@smithlongworth7389

i've emailed metacycle about this issue but they never got back to me. i also wrote in forums but no response. i kept mine parked in my backyard and i'd hear the alarm go off randomly even though nothing is touching it so i swapped out my other bike in the shed and put the metacycle in hoping the sound of the alarm won't be too loud but i still hear it randomly go off sometimes. i'm sure my neighbors are annoyed but they haven't said anything.

Im glad i never bought one! Quality control went out the window a few years back. You dont get the range they claim. Take your hard earn dollars and give us junk!

its pretty much disassembled right now at my buddy's house. he's trying to figure out why the lights dont turn on 🥴

I have the same issue but now I have no throttle. Already swapped out parts but no go. Might be the controller.

my throttle is choppy now too. i asked my mechanic if there's something he can do but he said he doesn't work on electric bikes. i have no choice but to sell it on craigslist for parts. i don't wanna deal with the stress anymore. its been a fun 1400 miles though.
