I wish there was a way to lock the terrain manipulation blueprint to a certain level on the x and y axis

One 1 of my worlds i have abut 120+ 2 star wolves that surround my base. So far the only attackers come from the ground. as soon as a event starts, it ends within no time killing so manny by my wolves. Also allot of wildlife spawns close to my base so my wolves are always getting fed and thus multiply even more. The luck i had with 1 hp left before i trapped the 2 star wolf was quit something and heart thrilling. Getting damage from the cold first and then the wolf trying to kill me, still mission completed.

I''m here because I built a sweet storehouse on top of a large hill, and Trolls STILL managed to hit it from below. Guess I need a bigger moat...

My first base was surrounded by a very large moat and encompassed a lot of area. I have the main building, a shop/warehouse, metal working gear, the map room, and beehives. I then added an extension for my farm area, and another one to bred pigs. Trolls walk up to the edge and stand there, and I climb up to the archers platform on top of the main building and kill them.

An idea for the "reindeer", albeit a rather dark take on them, might be several Askvin skeletons, towing the thing over the roof :) If one could make them stay up there without too much obvious support, that is.

the white streaks in the air indicate wind direction... the wind is blowing directly into the shelter you made for the workbench... always try to set the bench facing downwind (wind hitting the back wall of the structure. Wind direction also changes so it might work for a while when the wind is blowing the right direction, but can change direction and start blowing inside and causing the "unprotected" warning at other times.

Large ground elevation (or excavation) and nothing destructible too close to the border of this isolated surface is the greatest thing ever. It's not a wall, it's topography modification, so depending of how the place is exploited, no problem with aesthetic, especially if you chose to start by expending from some natural hill/ cliff + beach/ ground depression ...

Just a heads up, using 2 star wolves, the pups weren't dropping through the hole. Removed the small beams making the base of the little crosses in the center, and that allowed them to fall. Playing on Ashlands patch.

I've made an unraidable base it is simple, dig a hole to bedrock then raise the ground around the hole easy, enemies will not get in if you raised the ground high enough and you can make a little parkour jump for you to get in.
