I like the music that comes from the pipes on my Harley
This helped me out a ton! Appreciate all the info brother @monks_made
Did the same on my 24 rg alpine green tin swap on blk trim. Came out great. They came painted gloss black which doesnt look bad while i wait to get it painted
Yeah the painted blacks don’t look bad. I just got them unpainted to have them color matched. Lot less prep when actually going to paint them. Of course Carbon Visionary came out with them in Crushed Carbon now (they don’t sell the mounting hardware though) but cost $530.
@hdryderct yeah I thought they were coming unpainted! Didn't know they'd be black but I'm not complaining 🤣 carbon would be sick tho
@@Stripping_Bolts Depends what kit you buy. Kit A is painted black with black plastic. Kit B was unpainted white plastic but now I'm told will be unpainted black plastic going forward.
@hdryderct idk I just got mine from some random Chinese seller on ebay lol no options to choose from
@@Stripping_Bolts gotcha. Yeah there are a few different sellers.
Great vid! Ill be doing this mod as well on my 2024 RG Burst Blue been taking it apart to get a lot of things paint matched so I might as well add this too!
Thank you. Glad it was able to help you out some. Great color choice by the way 😎
So much easier than before
Did not work for me, same same. But I use Pandora not Apple music. Anyways tried with both heard no difference. I usually use a headset also. My complaint is the GPS, when it's telling me something the volume is low and if I catch it I can raise the volume but the next time it says something its right back to low volume. That is annoying. What is the fix for that?
Yeah I just downloaded it to see if there was a setting and looks like Pandora doesn’t have one. You can change those settings for prompt volume and where the audio comes out in the head units settings. I’ll probably have to make a video on that one.
@@hdryderct Yeah I know how to do that. Doesn't matter always reverts to low volume. My Goldwing doesn't do that, same headset. Anyways.
@@ralphcaro9374sorry can’t help more then. Idk why yours is reverting. I set mine and it’s stayed where I put it.
Thank you buddy.. I was over here trying to twist & push from the opposite side with needle nose, like hold on.. someone on yt may have a better solution haha
🤣 not a problem. Glad that I could help you out.
What is the name of the seat lock you have?
It is from Robert Becker Designs - robertbeckerdesign.com
@@hdryderct I figured it out and already have it on the bike thanx
@@Mikey1stop gotcha. Sorry it took so long. Saw it at work and forgot to get back and just remember today. My apologies. Enjoy the new ride 👍🏻
It really works & makes a big difference! Can’t wait to try it on my 14 Limited with my new Soundstream V2 radio! Thank you!
Thanks for leading me to Apple music. Apple music is much louder then Spotify what I use all the time. I tested both streaming platforms on my 24 RG and Apple Music is much louder. I will still need to upgrade but I will try it out when I get a chance.
Sorry you had to switch but glad that it’s working out better for you and I was able to help 👍🏻
thanks...your right...the instructions are not clear...
Hope the video was helpful. Shouldn’t be this difficult. HD should have had the instructions updated upon model release. It was very frustrating trying to get it to work.
Are you having any issues with the hold releasing? After I did the PSR levers it is not wanting to disingage. ( I just discovered this and haven’t reached out to PSR fyi)
The only issues I had with the levers initially was that when they were st the lowest setting on the Journey levers I could not enable the brake hold feature. So brake hold not easily releasing wouldn’t be an issue because of the levers. It was difficult to disengage with the stock levers for me as well. Does there make sense?
Great content.
Not sure to understand the interest to do that ?
It's so you can have your brakes hold you when you are stopped on a hill, but in neutral. I've actually wanted that quite a bit.
And what does it cost for this bypass?
That’s I am not sure. It was a test unit sent to me so any of those questions you’d have to email, call or message Tim.
It’s great to have especially if you’re stuck in traffic in an incline / decline. You don’t have to sit their and hold your clutch in because currently on the 2024’s (non-CVO) if you don’t wanna hold the clutch in you have to be in Neutral and you’ll be holding that brake. With this you don’t have to hold either.
@@Locle-xm9ndcost is $60 + $10 shipping. Dealer will more than likely charge 1/2 hour labor to flash the bike for it to work.
Nice! My biggest gripe is that I had to purchase an iPhone to use my $30,000.00 bike on top of 8.59% interest with a 770 score? WTF, right? Biden, forgive my loan.....
🤣🤣🤣 I hear you on that one. Fortunately I’m an iPhone user lol. But blame Android for that one. They are the ones that dropped support for 2 wheels.
Luckily things are good enough for you to buy a $30K bike and afford 8.59% interest 🙄. People like to complain all while spending like wildfire. Must not be too bad out there 😉
@@hdryderctno proof of that
When you have the clutch on #1 are you still able to start the bike with the clutch pulled in? I recall Flo levers have this issue.
On these levers on the lowest setting the bike still started no issue. I have their Anthem Pro Levers on the bike now which have even greater adjustment. Was working on a follow up video for the new levers so I’ll have to look and see if that changes anything. Stay tuned! Thanks for the question.
Great video! I found the updated instructions that shows where to install the siren on the new model road and street glides. I installed mine the other day. You do have to remove the battery though. It installs directly behind the battery. There's a cutout in the plastic fins behind the battery that the siren snaps into. KZread won't allow me to insert the link to the instructions for some strange reason.
Where did you find the instructions?
@@marcuslee1750 KZread won't allow me to add the link to the comments but if you google "harley davidson road glide siren installation instructions" and click on the Harley Davidson SIP link for "security system smart siren ii kit". Once you click on the link scroll down to "2023-LATER CENTER-COOLED TOURING MODELS". Those are the instructions for the new model touring bikes. I hope that helps.
Great video I used this to turn off the chirp on my 2024 Pan America after installing the siren 👍
Awesome! Glad it was able to help you out.
Bigger windshield helps. Have a 2024 Roadglide CVO, bought a 12” Harley windshield, and can actually hear my music now. But great tip as well
You should have an option as to what height your windscreen is at the time of purchase for no extra charge. Corp Theft.
Thank you There is a IFCU SUPPORT bulletin on this also To improve audio output it is recommended that the H-D Signature equalizer setting is used. See Figure 17. If playing audio through an I-Phone it is also suggested that in your Music settings, turn EQ off and disable Sound Check and Crossfade. See Figure 18.
Gotcha. I wasn’t aware of the IFCU support bulletin so I’ll have to check that out. I’ll also give the H-D Signature equalizer settings a try and see what that does. As far as the sound check and EQ settings they make a huge difference. The crossed IMO isn’t gonna do much as that only lowers the volunteer for the transition from song to song.
@@hdryderct Honestly, I tried the H-D Signature but ended up going with your recommendation and did the custom setting as shown in the video. I think it sounded better.
This is so cool!!!!
Congrats.Beautiful bike.👍
Thanks! 👍 it’s been an absolute blast.
Thx for info
Happy to have been able to help.
Thanks for the info. I installed mine today and posted a video if anyone needs some help. I did install it in a different spot.
Awesome! Glad someone got a video out for it. I’ll eventually have one up hit at least yours will help more now. Thank you 🙏
Looking for new adjustable levers for my 24 RG Ltd. Never heard of these. I’ve been looking at Oberon but they aren’t ready to release for 24 RG yet. Are these adjustable?
Yeah they are adjustable. As far as I’m aware they are the only adjustable levers on the market now and both their brake and clutch levers are adjustable. They offer 3 different kind of levers; Journey, Anthem and Anthem Pro. The anthem pro’s are the ones I have now and are the most customizable they can be turned into shorty levers or full size, have 48 clicks of adjustment (that I counted) on the clutch side and 51 (again I counted) on the brake side. You can swap out the handle and adjustment wheel colors for blue, red, silver or gold.
Alright but how did you get your CarPlay to allow you to see the other 2 portions of the screen? All I get is the left side and CarPlay.
The setup I have is tour mode. If you have the full size gauge on the left side that’s why you can’t see the stuff on the right side.
I like the metal psr oil fill cap on .y honda better than plastic oen
Yeah they make great stuff. I have a Harley so no cap for me though.
@@hdryderct some usto make a knife dip stick for Harley . Was an ad in the back of easy rider
Looking forward to the long term review. I love the color options. Just not sure they look comfortable for high traffic stop and go. Very interested 🤔
Took the bike for a ride today with them and they are fantastic. There is a fitment issue on the brake side but PSR is aware and will be making adjustments before the retail units are shipped out. I will say the friction zone is greatly reduced in my unprofessional opinion by about 1/2 actually almost most stalled the bike twice as it takes some getting use to be I like it. Very comfortable and look fantastic. Video will be a bit as I am tied up for the next couple of weeks but I will have a comparison review up asap.

Bought a pair for my dyna, the screw fell out while i was riding on my clutch lever 😳. Removed and when with one finger pull lever.
I haven’t had any issues with loosing a screw. Which one did you lose?
My fix ended up being a speaker and amp upgrade, a 13" freedom shield was icing on the cake. Now my music sounds nice and I can hear it all speeds. Excited for the aftermarket to fully catch up so i can do a full system upgrade.
Nice! Yeah the windshield I hear helps some and of course upgrading the audio helps as well. Idk if I’m gonna wanna go all out with a full system so when you upgrade lmk; I may buy yours off you if it’s for sale and your interest in selling. My IG is @HDRyderCT just shoot me a message.
How much extra was all that on top of a bike that shouldn't be more than $20k to start with? Hmm... It's a motorcycle and Apple sold them down the iPhone rabbit hole at your expense, Knowingly! ASSHATS!
They look cheap in clear!
That’s subjective. They service specific purpose for me. You can always get them in black obviously. Appreciate you checking out the video.

I already have mine installed. Next time I’m in that area I’ll do a video of it though up until the point of needing to remove the battery as past that it’s just putting the siren into place and plugging it in.

Yeah I think I saw what you’re talking about. Unfortunately things are on the internet and not everyone will give credit where credit is due but I appreciate your comment.
You can’t hear your stereo on a cvo because of HD’s crappy aerodynamics The wind coming off the windshield and out of the vent distorts the sound waves My 18 cvo was 10x’s better
I’d have to agree and disagree. If you adjust the settings like I did in the video it 100% should improve the sound BUT you are correct. The aerodynamics really do mess with the audio as well. If you put a taller and or wider windshield on they also helps. I’m gonna be adding an 11” Freedom Shield soon which should help.
Just made this adjustment and going to try this, thanks for the video
Not a problem at all; here to help 👍🏻
It’s not working for me 😩
You have the security siren module installed on your bike?
@@hdryderct no, I just got it a few days ago. Didn’t install anything
Do they have that installed from factory or is it an additional option?
@@Lous-Clues The siren (part that makes the sound) IS NOT installed on the non-CVO bikes at the factory. You have to buy it as an accessory.
@@hdryderct ok thank you. I’ll look into it. 👍🏼
I have 2024 cvo. Not the st. Will this work with this bike
Yes. Fitment is in the title of the video.
Been having trouble getting my phone and 24 RG to play CarPlay. Tried two different adapters (BCLink and Anker) while using the HVMLAK Bluetooth aux car jack. Have factory reset a couple of times, pulled the main fuse a couple of times (at one point the bike wouldn’t delete the phone). Doesn’t work connected either. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!
Personally I have the Anker USB-C to USB-A adapter and am using the UGreen 5.3 Bluetooth adapter. Works without issue. For specifics I’d refer you to In The Friction Zone on KZread. He has a great channel and goes over this extensively. If those don’t fit your need there is a guy that makes an adapter. Shoot me a message on Instagram and I can send you his info.
@@hdryderct thanks for the reply! Actually reached out to TheFrictionZone last week and it even has him stumped! I may get that UGreen brand also just to rule out the Bluetooth connections. We think the issue is between the phone and bike, but nothing conclusive yet. Thanks again for the feedback!!
Go to Bluetooth setting and make sure under HD Bluetooth is enable. That happened to me.
Also, bluetooth will not produce the volume levels that a hardwire into the USB will provide.
Mine is a Bluetooth connection and audio is the same connected into the usb as it is using Bluetooth so not sure where your getting that information from.
@@hdryderctthat’s universally known that a wired connection will always give you a louder sound over Bluetooth. Any audiophile will tell you that.
@@hondahoon2479 gotcha. I’m no audiophile but to my ears I can’t tell a difference between wired or Bluetooth. Idk.
@@hdryderct I’m not an audiophile either, and I’m not trying to imply that it doesn’t sound loud or the same to you. I’m just saying if you ever owned a pair of Bose headphones or Sony, or even have Bluetooth connection in your vehicle…it’s definitely louder technically when you have a cord hooked to the earphones or your vehicle via hardwired connection.

Incorrect it works with all bikes. My buddy turned off the sound check setting on his iPhone and it increase his audio on his 2019 Mako CVO. Are you using Apple Music?
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I do not have the “music” tab in my settings 🤔
Update: I must have deleted it for some reason. I downloaded from the App Store and it’s back. But makes me wonder if I didn’t have it in the first place then maybe I wasn’t experiencing the issue 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah if you didn’t have Apple Music to begin with I don’t think you’d run into the issue. Seems to be something specific with the Apple Music app. I’m gonna test out another music app to see what volume sounds like between the two.
@@hdryderctok for the record I was using my Spotify app.
Can you ask Christian if the stage 2 upgrade was significantly louder than the stock audio?
Don’t need to. I can tell you the audio will be louder than stock going to a stage 2 system. Your utilizing a larger 500w amp compared to the stock 200w and the speakers have larger magnets in them so audio volume will increases.
Thanks bro.
I’d get away from RF/HD systems before investing in a stage. The stock 2024 system dyno’d around 10 watts to the same speaker that came out in 2015. It’s a beautiful screen, but lacking as a system. Not hating, just calling it like it is.
-@@hdryderct Don't waste your money on the Rockford Fosgate primary 500 watt Amplifier. Recently purchased it to install on my 2024 Roadglide vivid black. I had these levers on my ultra limited for over a year and they started to fall apart. One of the adjusters jammed up and the other lever became very loose. After an attempt to repair them I re-installed the stock levers. Very disappointing for the money they cost. I hope you have better luck.
Interesting. Well I’ll be testing them so if I have any issues I’ll report back but knowing that I’ll have to keep the stock levers with me just in case.

Can you do a video of the installation
It’s installed already but what I can do is a video giving instructions on how to do it with physically removing stuff until I get to the battery (not pulling that again). Should be helpful. Stay tuned for that. It’ll be a few weeks until I can get to that as the bike is in for service and the way my work schedule works.
Did you do a video on fitting the siren ?
I do not unfortunately. But can walk you through it if that helps. Shoot me a message on IG @HDRyderCT
These don’t seem to as well designed as they should’ve been, but I don’t have a 24 model year, so I can’t speak from experience. I do however have a set of the FLO shorty adjustable levers on my 23 softail, the front brake lever is great, no issues or complaints, however the clutch lever would’ve nicer if it was designed to be a half inch longer. It doesn’t need the extra length for leverage, it’s just my sausage like fingers would align better on the clutch lever.
They are very well designed and solid levers IMO. A lot of the restrictions are with the HD setup itself on these bikes although idk how the brake hold issue when on level 1 was missed during R&D. I’d assume that would be adjust in future revision. I should be getting a set of their Anthem Pro levers when available to test out and that be one of the first things I look for. The Anthem Pro’s are nice because you can adjust the slide so can be shorty levers or full size levers so those may work for you better.
Did you have any issues with the cruise control working? I installed a set of FLO adjustable levers on my 21 SGS, and could not get the cruise control to engage. The problem seemed to be with the clutch side. Just curious if there issues with this manufacturer. Thanks, Mitch
No issues with cruise control at all. Works perfectly. Actually used it a bit on a ride yesterday.
How much closer to the grip is the clutch compared to stock? Great info about the break side and the auto hold.
