  I gave it an honest try in duos and squads and it was honestly so frustrating playing against FNCS/Ninja wannabes/professional no lives it's just gonna get the Midas Lava treatment i.e. * *COMPLETE ALL QUESTS FOR COSMETICS AND GTFO ASAP* *. As someone who's only played a bit of STW years ago (I tried BR back then but wasn't for me), and the only chapter I played in depth was Chapter 5 Season 2 (Myths and Mortals was such a blast imho :D love Greek Mythology), yeah this mode is not for me. It doesn't help the guns have MASSIVE bulletspread compared to what I'm used to with chapter 5's guns (my mains are Warforged Assault rifle/Frenzy or Gatekeeper shotgun/Thermal or Eagle Eye Huntress DMR or AR/SMG/DMR with 2 heals or 1 heal 1 mobility/utility item), even when I tapfire instead of fully auto meanwhile everyone has lazer aim and hits me all the way from bloody Narnia! If they're serious about making me play this garbage beyond quests, throw in bots like in Zero Build's casual mode so it's not an entire stomp fest while I get used to the weapons + map + loot locations and settle on favourites to run. It's just way too brutal to learn on the fly otherwise and I'd rather play solo zero build ranked or Rocket Racing ranked if I want to get THIS irate with the game. Besides Fortnite won't "die" if this mode flops, I'll be around in Festival, Zero Build Casual (mainly quests, the characters/dialogue/lore, or silly moments like pickaxe 1v1 if we land same time with no weapons, honking my car and shaking my camera up and down in time to the radio's songs while driving, me cussing out the enemy when they destroy my sports car etc), Lego and STW anyway. :) Everyone has their preferences, mine's just more chill games instead of playing like it's a freaking tournament except no cash prize and no audience watching your every move. This mode is anything BUT chill lmao 🤣

  It's crazy that they made this in a month. It would be fun if there's an alrernate style Chapter 1 BR map that actually progresses with map changes. Reload could do that, but I don’t think it would be a good choice for storytelling since it's fast-paced
