Dream's footwork came from all of those years of playing soccer before he ever came to the U.S and played basketball.

As I commented on another video. Hakeem was the Houston Rockets. He was the focal point. Jordan had Pipen and then added Rodman. Shaq had Kobe, Kobe had Shaq. Majic had Kareem and a host of other hall of famers. Hakeem was his team he dudnt have a duo or triplets like others and still was amazing.

Everyone talks about what an amazing player/athlete Olajuwon was (and he was!). Living in Houston most of my life (starting in the 70s) and having run into him one time, I can tell you that he was also a truly nice person. When I was going to school at University of Houston (late 80s - early 90s) I had a karate class (Kim Soo Karate) that took place on the floor of Hofheinz Pavilion (U of H basketball court). I was walking down the stairs towards the floor one day and watching my feet as I was walking, so that i didn't trip. Ahead of me I could see that someone was approaching and I could tell that they were TALL. As he got close, I looked up and was shocked to see that it was Olajuwon. I was at a loss for words! He looked at me with a big smile and said in his thick Nigerian accent, "Hi, how are you doing?" I don't even remember what i replied because i was so shocked. It was after this that i learned that Hakeem frequently still practiced at U of H (his alma mater), even though he was already a multi-year all-star with the Rockets. How many other superstar NBA players would initiate conversation with someone that they are just passing? It's funny how vividly I still remember that encounter, even though it was around 34 years ago.
