Disappear for Days

Subscribe and disappear with us! ✈️

Welcome to our channel, Disappear for Days, we're Jacob and Emma. In April 2023, we quit our jobs, put our house up for rent and decided to take the trip of a lifetime to South-East Asia and beyond! 🌏

Join us in our travels as we show you around these different parts of the world and put ourselves out of our comfort zones in countries we've never visited before, whilst capturing these moments in a way which is genuine to us. 📷

Thank you for watching and supporting us through our journey, we'd love it if you could subscribe to keep up with our antics along the way! 👍🏻

Much love,

Thing is, how can we say how privileged we are because we don't live this way, when those villagers wouldn't know any different, if it weren't for people like you coming along to say how lucky you are to live the way you live and what a sad, hard life they must have because it doesn't match your expectations. Those people may lead a totally stressfree, healthy life in comparison. Instead of paying to go work out at a gym, wasting time jogging, or paying to go swimming up and down a sterilised pool. They got organic foods and meds, free excersise from living the way they do, lots of free vitamin D from the sunshine and beautiful clean air to breath. Should never put your ideologies on others.

That sounds like a fun and unique activity! Dancing with bamboo sticks is a traditional form of dance in some cultures, particularly in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. It's often performed as part of cultural celebrations and festivals. In the Philippines, for example, there's a traditional dance called "Tinikling" that involves dancing with bamboo sticks. The dancers tap the sticks on the ground and against each other in rhythmic patterns, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Hoi An is nice, go on the river at night, it's touristy but fun, and a short bus ride away. Hoi An is known for its silk and silk products. The pagoda bridge ... if memory serves me correctly, is one of the oldest bridges in SEA and an oddity as it has a small pagoda built into it. Then, of course, go up to Linh Ung Pagoda, that's the statue you can see from the beach.

@@Burlin88 More than just that. When any vlogger starts comparing a country to another, I will remind everyone that each city, each country, each town, each village, each place, all have its own vibes, attractions and beauty. With individual experience, all that will connect them to the beauty of the place, the people, the art, the culture, the tradition, the food that lead them connected closely to their experience. However, if they put their hopes on the wrong expectation, then it'll lessen the true sense of adventure. Enough said, makes things simple, it'll be easier to enjoy the journey in life. 😀

That's it exactly it, egg coffee tastes very similar to egg nog. Lots of Westerners are creeped out by egg coffee because they don't associate eggs with desserts, but in Asia, egg yolk is a popular ingredient in many desserts. But then when you mention egg nog, they realize that it's not so weird after all, because egg nog is actually a delicious and refreshing dessert that Westerners can understand.

  • @DisappearforDays
