We visited Vietnam for the FIRST TIME! What will our first impressions of this country be?
We have finally made our way to Vietnam and can't tell you how much we have been looking forward to this country. It has been on our list since we started travelling for so many different reasons - we can't wait to start exploring. Our first stop is Hanoi where we found ourselves in the Old Quarters.
Follow us along in this video as we amble along the wet and bustling streets trying food spots on every corner.

Definitely not your common coffee in the UK, but definitely worth trying. Though it may be too sweet for some, we found it a perfect mix! 😍

That's it exactly it, egg coffee tastes very similar to egg nog. Lots of Westerners are creeped out by egg coffee because they don't associate eggs with desserts, but in Asia, egg yolk is a popular ingredient in many desserts. But then when you mention egg nog, they realize that it's not so weird after all, because egg nog is actually a delicious and refreshing dessert that Westerners can understand.

Definitely this! I think as a foreigner, if you haven't been to Asia, A LOT of things sound so weird when in actual fact they taste amazing, or are completely normal. I won't lie though, we do still get freaked out a little when we hear brains or something is on the menu. But there's a first time for everything! 😅😂

You've to try the stews dishes in Vietnam. They are amazing, especially how they use fish sauce on their cooking and condiments, as oppose to soya sauce on Chinese cooking 😋

There is so much here to see, once you get out of the city centre, you'll be shocked by the amount of temples, churches, museums, and villages (the silk village Phuc Ly is easily accessible by the BRT) to see. Almost too much to see!

Thank you for the recommendation! We can't wait to head back to Hanoi in the future and really explore the outskirts more so also! There was so much in the center, let alone around and about! Thank you for watching, we hope you enjoy the rest of our Vietnam videos to come 😊🥰
