Fabulous! Thank you for making this video and inspiring me. Much love and peace from London UK 🇬🇧 ❤😊
Brilliant thankyou. Is that tissue paper that you blotted the blue paint over the foil - normal tissue? How did it not tear?
You put these together so well❣️. They look beautiful ❣️
Looks like a hosta leaf; deer love them. Thanks for great videos. I just subscribed and my gelli plate is arriving in a few days from Amazon. I can't wait to get started! I usually just paint watercolors but I have some lovely acrylic paints as well.
I enjoyed and appreciated watching and hearing your process. And may I say, you have Such beautiful hands and nails! 👐🏼🎊
I love your collage process. Can't wait to check out your other videos!
This is so great! I've never even heard about some of these techniques. Thanks for sharing this info with us! TFS 😊
This is great 🙂 I've heard that our soul speaks to us through synchronicities to know we're on the right path and you are the second Catherine I've been led to. The other one was to do with a card game that gets you out and about. Both of you really creative people 🙂
Brilliant ❤
Wonderfully instructive video! I havs signed up for the workshop. Now I need to create more fodder! ❤️❤️❤️
❤ this!!
thank you for a great tutorial!
Catherine, how do you keep your media spreading brushes clean and soft? Thanks
Can you use something other than a tray to tape the paper on? Can you use any flat sturdy surface?
I just bough a Fineliner to try
This looks so fun!
These are beautiful!
You have the perfect voice for this - thanks so much for the free tutorials!
Too many choices of papers = chaotic results = no joy. Yes! You described the problem I’ve been having. I’ve even been searching online and in my community for art courses to help me with the process because I’ve been so stumped, and I feel like you just gave it to me! Thank you so much! I’ve just discovered your channel and now I’m going to go watch your whole library! Thank you!
I am absolutely thrilled that my way of sorting could bring some order to your process. It made the world of difference in how I create when I stumbled on it a couple years ago. For me, the fewer papers to choose from, the better!
Beautiful ! Your tutorials are excellent. Your explanation and thought process of how to choose papers in this is very helpful. I also admire your restraint to only use a few bits of those gorgeous papers out of all you chose. Time for me to catch up on more of your videos 🥰
Thanks so much for sharing what is useful in my videos. I'm honored that you choose to watch what I put out into the world.
Thanks so much for these videos. I get so confused when I'm creating these papers, and following along here really helps!
I'm thrilled that you find my videos helpful to your process.
Beautiful!
Thanks so much!
Magnifique 🌸🌸🌸
Awww thank you!
Love this! I'm a mad scientist like you - love experimenting with all sorts of stuff, just to see what happens! Some disasters, some resounding and surprising successes. I'd love to have seen how you used tar gel, though. Did you paint it through the stencil? It's such gloopy stuff.
Lovely to meet another mad scientist! With tar gel, I usually swirl it around with a knife or spoon onto the paper. Hard to use through a stencil.
I love all these ! Thanks so much for the unlimited free access to your kickstart collage course. Ive started , but come to a standstill ~ I cant seem to make choices and have thrown a couple away, but plan to make more varied painted papers.
Thank you! Try sorting and using only papers that you absolutely love. This makes the process a lot easier for me.
Catherine- love the teabag process and examples! Can’t wait to do some myself. ❤
I love these too, and love adding them to my collages even more! I used them in my last video that just posted.
Very cool, Cat! I love your generosity in sharing your talent and techniques. Thanks!
What a kind thing to say, thank you 🙏.
One more thing I’ve learned: I used to obsess over torn vs. cut edges in my collages; I’ve seen that you don’t, and everything still looks great. So I’m not going to do that anymore!☺️
Thank you
Thank YOU!
I love these! Thanks for showing the thinking behind your process!
You are so welcome! Glad you liked it!
Thanks so very much. I'm glad that you found this helpful.
You totally Marie Kondo your papers and I’m here for it!!
I love that! 😂💖
That is about the nicest thing you can say to me! I think I'll begin describing my sorting practice the way you did 😉!
Pure eye candy! SO inspiring, thank you!
Awww thanks!
Awww thanks, I appreciate the kind feedback 💞
These turned out beautiful. Thank you, Cat. ❤
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching!

I must have missed this one. I LOVE these papers and can't wait to try...
Hope you enjoy it!
Oh they are super fun to create! Enjoy!
Love these colours 💐💐💐💐 and diff papers 🥰
Thanks so much for letting me know!
I loved these collages. I just recently made some water droplet papers. Can't wait to use them.
Thanks so very much! The water drop papers are magical and so useful in a collage when placed on transparent paper.
Fantastic !
Awww thank you!
That was awesome! Can you use wax paper? Well, i guess I'll have to try it and find out!
I think you can, but since I didn't, YES you will need to try it out and report back!
You are such a kind considerate lady, to share and teach us so much , I am in awe of you thank you 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐🥰 uk

I adore you, this is the sweetest comment! Thank you 💖
Hi Catherine! Can you tell me if you have a source for your collage (blank) book that you can share. I love the creamy color of the pages. Thank you for sharing all that you have for so long!
The link for this sketchbook is in the description below the video. It is a fabulous book to create in. And thank you for the very kind words.
I wish you had linked the las video for those who missed it.
Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful! 😊💖
Catherine, On the image that didn't work so well (the bare branches on blue) do you think you could scan it and print on a heavier paper to get the image?
Yes that would be possible. However with so many magazines to try, if one image doesn't work, I typically just move onto the next!
Fantastic, mind-blowing techniques! Can't wait to try these!
You're sweet! Thank you for watching, happy creating!
Great idea. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
You have a pleasing voice and certainly know how to address your audience. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
What a sweet compliment, thank you so much!
The great thing about this technique is that you can incorporate into a collage using an iron ... the iron softens the glue allowing it to adhere papers together without the need for aditional glue application
Why didn't you just iron it
So true! Great idea.
I could have if I was creating a collage with these papers. Ironing is a great substitute for glue!
What a great technique! I could see so many rabbit 🐇 holes to go down - one being using neon acrylic markers to doodle over the patterns.. Thank you for this inspiration, it'll keep me happily playing for weeks - and it will make a change from my usual alcohol 🍸ha ha ☺ 💗💗 much appreciation from a Scottish pensioner .
I love the idea of using neon markers! Thank you for watching and happy creating!
