Im adhd and at rock bottom emotionally.suggest me 1 book I should read to start my journey.
I'm so sorry to hear that, Bipin - I would need to know a bit more about you and your situation, but one good place to start building your foundations for mindset and emotional resilience might be "Psychocybernetics" by Dr. Maxwell Maltz.
@@stephenpetro411 lemme explain my situation I have zero focus i can't even focus for 5-10 second on something and my mind keep running in future and past not at all in present these things dragging my down. because of this im also suffering physically and my health is not good i also failed one most important exam . Help if you can.
Wonderful suggestions 📙📗 Stephen which books can help in creating small wins and becoming a daily achiever to keep our mind in momentum and tackle negative thoughts of not making enough progress.. which goal or system settings plan could work..

Did you ever? Hear that, Congressman say that they're so happy. We live in a constitutional democracy rather than a constitutional republic
I know there's so much confusion out there about these terms. The US is a democratic republic - so the fact that it is a democracy and a republic are not mutually exclusive.

Do not blindly accept all things those book said and those book can't solve the problems you got from some thing that can't have full control. If you find out you surrounded by those problems. A psychiatrist maybe more helpful than those productivity books. Stop it and get some help.
You're right - the thing is more people than we think are surrounded by these problems and struggles daily. People just don't talk about it and keep it in.
I found your channel yesterday, and i really changed my mindset to be perfect and being guilty about not following self help books. I will just start by doing meditation and reading the book you suggested "being logical".Thanks so much to create a hope in my life

Too Good 💎 Analysis 📝 📚 Stephen it is said that Action cures fear and stress of unknown uncertainty so which book talks about it in larger details.. momentum matters for someone like me with adhd to not feel behind in any way.
Ohhh yes for sure, Mohib - for this, a GREAT book for you would be "The 5-Minute Rule" by Mel Robbins.

Well, it still a good deal for like, 90% of the world population. People work more than what we have data about.
I hear you - many people already work that much and barely just make ends meet
I am *More *HUMAN** *Than You!!!* I have made more mistakes than you may ever make, and I may still have over 44 years to make More...!!!

Great business idea you’ve started, I’ve wanted to do something similar for a while, but I’m in the same age and position as my prospects would be so it doesn’t really make sense 😂 I resonated with this video though. I started a marketing agency because it seemed easy and I thought I’d just make some money and figure out what I really want to do. Not great. About 2 years later I’ve barely grown it because I just was never interested in making it better. I didn’t like the idea of growing it. But Rian Doris had some insight on this Motivation is a few things: - Curiosity toward what you’re doing - A high level of autonomy - A sense of growing mastery - High enjoyment with day-to-day tasks - An overall purpose for your work This helps me look at opportunities and kind of score them to figure out which I’d be more motivated toward. At the end of the day, the actual model is moot in the age of infinite leverage. It only matters if you’re motivated in the long term, because you can make anything work.
Hmm, well I can understand why you feel that way, but it might also be a bit of imposter syndrome. My question to you would be: if you've made some progress in your life even 1 year past where your prospects are, that means you still have something to teach them. I would say still go for it. As for the marketing agency, haha not easy at all - but totally worth it if you can put in the work to build it!
@@stephenpetro411 Yeah, well my point was that I think you should really *like* the idea of building whatever it is. If you don't then there's really no reason to do it.

Well, he does have the freedom not to work on this guy's business, but I do see your point entirely.
Who is this liberal feminist, and why does he hate entrepreneurship?
lol I love entrepreneurship and am a serial successful entrepreneur. And yeah, I'm in favor of equal rights under the law for all citizens. Label that how you will.

You forgot the part where the fisherman replies "but thats what I'm doing right now"
I left that up to you to infer ;)
This is a traditional story, what does Kevin O'Leary have to do with it?
Kevin O'Leary is a good stand-in example of someone who might say this haha
The fisherman already has that life
That's exactly the point
TALK ABOUT IT!!!!!!

' after you sell your fishing business, you can spend time on the boat and eat fish with friends ! Like a rich man ! '
Lol yes exactly as you could do before
The only issue with this advice is that you will have no family or real friends left. If you happen to want what Kevin wants and you get all your happiness the same way he does, then you would be good to go, but I got the T-shirt from that life and I can tell you that most people really don't want any part of that life, they are only thinking about the money and there has never been a situation in the history of mankind where having more money than you typically need to live comfortably made anyone happy.
Exactly - that's the message here 👍
Hire a GM.
Lol for sure - but in all fairness, you still need to invest a lot of time and money to train someone to perform to your expectations. Not a bad idea though!

This is why democracy with capitalism works so well because it gives people in the society a choice and with the Constitution you have basic fundamentals that allow those two to succeed
I agree
True democracy is impossible. The human condition is far to corruptable by greed. Humans naturally want to be in control of their situations and alot of poeples "situation" is controlling as many people as possible to keep them in a box they deem as more important then other humans freedom. Creating and maintaining governmental control give those people access to that power and the wealth to maintain it.
Is there a viable alternative though?
@@stephenpetro411 not until humanity evolves to care about the species instead of individuals
This is exactly why democracy is inherently evil. This is also the reason that the us is a republic. Base rights have to hold more power than public opinion.
What you're describing is more like "direct democracy," which I agree is also unworkable. That being said, the US is also a democracy - just a different form (democratic republic).
Communism is impossible, so far it only turned into facism.
What does communism have to do with democracy? Also, communism and fascism are complete opposites in terms of ideology.
Its pissible with alot of dead bodys
What do you mean?
Democracy: 2 wolves and a sheep voting over what’s for dinner.
Dictatorship: 1 wolf deciding everyone else is for dinner.
@@stephenpetro411 Why would you mention dictatorship when the discussion is about democracy not working?
@@nopers369 My point of mentioning that is that democracy is still the better alternative
Better than the alternative if you think that the only alternative is dictatorship. @@stephenpetro411
@@stephenpetro411yeah, but in capitalism it's impossible to make real democracy, because of money and people wanting more money... We need social democracy to chisel it to perfection...
Dumb question. The q is which is the best system. Democracy has proven to be the best warts and all
I agree it's proven to be the best. That being said, the question is an important one. This theorem has actually helped improve the design of democracies around the world.
@@stephenpetro411 how so
@@ariplatt8192 So for example, it has led to different systems of voting (ranked choice vs first past the post, etc). It has also led to reforms in procedures for allocation of funds for infrastructure projects, etc. Also, it can indirectly be tied to the development of things like participatory budgeting.
