Playing in the woods with the other kids, soon learnt I was rubbish at throwing anything. When a bit older and working for the local nursery in the school holidays collecting and sorting daffy bulbs, there was always a lot of rock throwing going on and this just reinforced how bad my throwing arm was. I switched to rubber band propulsion and got pretty good at making and shooting catys. Always carry one but don`t think it has ever appeared in my vids, will have to remedy that. It`s been done to death but can do my version I guess. Defiantly give the sheep something to think about!

rock throwing must come hand in hand with daffy bulb grading! and i still have a bag of elastic bands from picking daffys from 10 years ago, id like to see your rubber band propulsion skills... things developed in youth can often be revisited and reworked. i got a small Oppenheimer feeling when i released this video.. i just hope it doesnt lead to mass destruction. stay young my good friend 👍

@@badgerandthewoodsman Sorry if I was a bit harsh, but trying to help. People are pretty fickle, they are not going to be interested in all the failures you will have to go through, they will just want to know what works and how they can shorten their learning curve, all wrapped up in a human story with good scenery. Am learning and researching this stuff because getting fed up with loosing 60-70% of my viewers in less than the first minute. I have been guilty of making the videos I want to make rather than the ones my viewers want to watch.

I wanted it to be a journey. I know this is a long process and I don’t want to appear like I’ve cheated it. I agree, it would’ve got a lot more views if I had wrapped the day into a video, But I do have a problem editing 4K. And can’t dress things up as much as I would like I will drop most of the 4K footage start using 1080p. Just so I can combine clips/effects together without waiting five hours for processing. Looking like we got a few nice days ahead, will you be tracking out?

You seriously think the Police are going to be bothered about your Opinel? As long as you're not flashing it about in public croded spaces you are fine with that, not as if the Police have taken to doing woodland spot checks. Talk about making a drama out of nothing yer big jessie. Anyway by the time you have read this message you've probably butchered that knife. This is the problem with some KZread campers, all drama, no common sense.
