This really is an awesome spot at SeaWorld, especially with some of the unique and rare species it houses! I remember seeing in old footage from the 80's that this particular Shark Encounter once had Tiger Sharks, though I doubt they will bring them back one day, but it will be amazing if they do! If there's any animal attraction that has gone through the most changes over the years, besides the shows, it's defiantly this one! And that's another thing that makes me love this part of SeaWorld Orlando; it makes me wonder what species will eventually make their way to their collection. Thanks as always for letting me join you on this adventure, and looking forward to seeing the next one.

Just like SeaWorld San Diego! Yet, I rather swim with dolphins, either bottlenose or common!🐬🐬🐬And visit the San Francisco Zoo soon, Zak! Plus, here are 2 zoo trivia questions for you & your girlfriend.... 1) How many rescued axolotls moved into the San Francisco Zoo as their new home by the DFW after being saved from an illegal smuggling ring? 2) What years did the Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium once house Coquerel's Sifakas in their Madagascar area? Bubbling Mosasaurus!🦈

random: but if you ever decide to do another international zoo, I recommend (both) parque de las leyendas in lima, peru! when I was a kid they used to be kind of dreary and cramped but I feel like the parks have really improved since then, with a bunch of rare native species from peru that aren't found in many other places, plus rescued pet trade animals! otherwise, visiting the bronx zoo and seeing chaperones telling kids the gorillas are monkeys lol

I actually have spoken with some of their aquarists here and can confirm that they do not have Atlantic blacktips at SW Orlando anymore, but do have a spinner shark! It’s one individual, a small requiem shark with a black tip on her anal fin. They’re visually distinct from Atlantic blacktips, among their closest relatives, by that tip. Also I’m definitely swimming with sharks over dolphins lol

I would rather go swimming with dolphins and the reason is because I have had ecounters with dolphins in the wild while fishing and the dolphins would come up for air but who knows with the shark cage diving it depends on the kind of shark that I would see.

I fully agree with your opinion on sea world. It’s incredibly exhausting (not to mention kinda sad) seeing people making tours or videos on the various sea world parks (or any facility that keeps cetaceans for that matter) only for the viewers to make endless comments where they blab about how the parks are cruel to their animals when it’s terribly clear that the way there treated is (for the most part) no different than how most zoos and aquariums care for their animals.

It looks like you experienced it for yourself in this video, but one of my main criticisms for the St.Louis zoo is they have a lot of no shows. This is my local zoo and I have been visiting about five times a year for over 12 years and there is always at least one animal we want to see that is of exhibit.
