had a similar fight and unfortunately got rolled lmao. had a pretty smooth run up until my parry hit like level 7 i think? next encounter got ansur with honor mode mechanics and it was GG. quite saddened and sort of surprised at the difficulty spike lmao
Aaaahh, Unlucky 😅. We had a lot of runs before this one that were ended in a brutal way too. It would be like round 3 and they throw a level 5 with 90 health at us. We'd be like. "soo.. what do you wanna play next run?"

i told a friend about this mod and now we are playing it together and its so much fun did one run fairly deep into it and then started over (after "cheating" (cosole) in the requirements for NG+) and now we are doing NG+ and challenge diff and its been going great exept when one of the ghosts capable of possession spawns in since it just makes us insta lose since my monk with 22 movement 10-40 dmg punches and upto 80 dmg flurrys gets possesed (22M move speed so legit no escape) so when those spawn we just delete the enemies only problem i have run into with the mod

Thanks for watching! Not much DnD experience, I did one session years ago with some friends. Danny and I played most of act 1 together in BG3, but we ended up stopping for awhile, then I replayed act 1 on my own a couple times. It’s pretty tragic, because I love the game. Hopefully we’ll get through more of the story together soon. Danny and I also played Divinity Original Sin 2 together the whole way through.

could i request a video of you reacting to your own gameplay and reminiscing about the highlights, and giving some directors cut commentary about your emotions and maybe thoughts at the time, maybe describing an incredible synergy or maximum damage roll moment that was a make or break for the run. It also makes for a great video title "Reacting to my own BG3 Roguelike run" and try out a second version that is slightly edited, to only show when you had comments to make about the gameplay, or explain some sort of great amazing synergy, or something the viewer might have missed. This one should have a little bit of an extreme title like "I tried the BG3 Roguelike and it's AMAZING / THE WORST" (choose any extreme statement) The thumbnail can also be exciting, by like showing a character with 1/20 HP and maybe an item saved the run - so you write "this saved my run..." Or just you looking like really desperate or distraught. I'd be down to help with the thumbnails as well
Wow, those are some good ideas. I’ll see what I can do, but I don’t have a ton of time everyday to put towards KZread. I work Monday-Friday and try my best to get a workout in. That’s why I’m always so tired in these videos 😅. It can be hard for me to watch.

also what do you get back after a fight is it a short rest with no HP?
Sort of. We found out that you can take a partial long rest to give you half of your spells and some abilities back, as well as half your hp, without having to use camp supplies. You can take the normal 2 short rests per "genuine" long rest, then use 40 camp supplies to long rest. You'll just have to get more camp supplies with your earned currency. By having a bard in the group like we pick up in the next episode, we get to take that partial long to earn ourselves a short rest every battle. That will get us to full hp every time, then we just deal with only using half our spells.

A warlock sounds fun to me. Part of the fun is coming up with different builds to try out, so I won't try to convince you of too much.

aww, darn. I want to help you out, but there isn't really anything more to it. You could try the auto installer on the echo S9 page and see if that works for you. Is the memoria patcher not adding the files to your FF9 folder?

We found out that you can press the "U" key or type !TT UI in console to open and close the mods menu 😃
BG3 seems like the perfect sandbox for moding or creative gameplay kinda wish they would just release every asset into a builder mode, akin to garrys mod. to give the community just free reins on the creative outcome!
Larian intend to release official modding tools in the next Patch, Patch 7. It's currently scheduled to release in September. We should see lots of fun mods like this popping up by the end of the year on the Steam community page.

I probably don't need to say this, but please be careful not to load your core game save while you have the game open via Vortex. Not sure how the mod interacts with it, but I don't want to hear about anyone losing countless hours of progress. 😄

how many char can u put in the warband? seems like max only 4 or something?
I believe every character is considered in your warband as far as item swapping, rep gains, and such goes - The 4 characters just represent your login screen for fun.

I apologize for the mixing, everyone. I think I'm a bit of a maniac when it comes to loud music. Gonna tone it down in future videos.
I saw that you can earn a vault reward through delves, as well as a customizable airship mount and other cosmetics in addition to whatever you find in the treasure rooms. As you can see in the video, I do think that the beta maybe isn't the best showcase of what these things are as far as difficulty goes. Apparently you can take a whole group of 5 into delves though, which I don't love, personally.. People are likely just gonna smash them mindlessly and get their cosmetics for the week, or month or whatever they do with those. 🤷♂
I'll prolly ignore this unless they just make it drop max ilvl like m+
