We played Baldur's Gate 3 roguelike mode (Mod). Here's how it went, and how you can play too!

How to Play:
1. Create a Nexus Mods account at www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3
2. Download Vortex-

3. Download the mods-
(Trials of Tav)

(BG3 Mod Fixer)

(Norbyte's BG3 Script Extender)

4. Open Vortex. There should be an alert to download the LSLib/Divine Tool. Download that.
5. Unzip your mods and drop those folders into the mods tab in Vortex.
6. When all 4 mods are enabled in this mods tab, click play button on the top left. BG3 must be opened from Vortex this way or the mods won't work.
Have fun and good luck! In this video I show 2 good runs, but believe me, there have been some real stinkers. sometimes you might get a level 5 enemy on your first couple runs that just destroys you. Or you might receive 5 bows, but you're playing a wizard. But hey, that's just how it goes in Roguelikes.

I probably don't need to say this, but please be careful not to load your core game save while you have the game open via Vortex. Not sure how the mod interacts with it, but I don't want to hear about anyone losing countless hours of progress. 😄

My vortex looks just like yours but I just cant seem to get it working :/ Great video though! I appreciate you trying to help us play as well!

Dang. I wish I could help you out more if you’re still not getting it working. Does it have anything to do with the DSlib/divine tool? I felt like I could’ve explained that I downloaded it off of the vortex app better.

didnt work for me i loaded the saved game again and nothing wasnt really detailed when installing this mod.

Aww noo, maybe we can help you out if you’re able to explain. You got all 3 mods plus downloaded LsLib/Divine tool in vortex?
We found out that you can press the "U" key or type !TT UI in console to open and close the mods menu 😃
BG3 seems like the perfect sandbox for moding or creative gameplay kinda wish they would just release every asset into a builder mode, akin to garrys mod. to give the community just free reins on the creative outcome!

Larian intend to release official modding tools in the next Patch, Patch 7. It's currently scheduled to release in September. We should see lots of fun mods like this popping up by the end of the year on the Steam community page.
