    OK so like feedback. I was planing to get one, BUT you are using a soldered OPT amp and that kills the deal for me. It would be nice to like 'rolling tubes' as on a tube equipment. It's a shame, that no one in your design team considered this. Otherwise, it really looks a nice new product. Believe me, I won't be the ONLY one not liking this soldered version. WHY...............there are dozens and dozens of way BETTER OPT amp solutions, that audiophiles would pick. It's like a great car, but ................no sir, you can ONLY use one brand of tires on it. My system, that I hand built, and modded individually to my liking (still a prototype) sound pretty good just click on my name.

    The BRAVIA Theatre U will work with any Bluetooth transmitter (TV, phone, tablet, etc.) including Apple TV 4K. So, "Yes." But the enhanced, optimized "360 Spatial Sound" feature only works with select Sony TVs or with phones that have the Sony Headphone app installed. Also, you'll need to take pictures of your ears in the app to optimize it for binaural surround.

    My second comment: whoever wrote this script completely missed the mark. They have women with clear affectations speaking about JBL using terms that they wouldn't use if they *really spoke like that. The whole thing is contrived and extremely sterile. It's a cartoonish caricature of how JBL wishes women would sound. This concept had SO much potential and they completely missed all of it.

    As a woman in audio, both pro and HiFi, and as owner of America's longest-running HiFi show, I am deeply concerned that THIS is what JBL believes women are like. I don't even know where to begin to express my utter disappointment about this messaging. This has missed the mark in so many ways. It dumbs down and talks down to women of all ages. Additionally, this video makes manifest the very stereotype that so many of us are working so hard to undo and disprove. The fact that JBL approved and released a piece so flagrant is beyond reproach. It's wreckless, irresponsible and begs the questions: what was JBL thinking? And what does JBL think we (women) are actually like? This video may earn them a new moniker. Perhaps JBL now stands for "Just Bimbos Listen?" Is that what they want us all to takeaway from this?

    Apparently it's not that uncommon. Sony Over-Ear bluetooth headphones have the same limitation as do most Bose Over-Ear Bluetooth headphones. Apparently when you charge while it's in use, the battery can get warm which is both bad for the battery and potentially bad for the wearer. There are some brands of headphones that do allow charging while in use (Beats and Jabra to name two), but the Bluetooth use restriction while charging is fairly common.

  • @Mastermoussa
    @MastermoussaКүн бұрын

    @@ecoustics this is the same bad mentality that apple shows with their ridiculous mouse, for example, where the charging port is under the mouse and you can't use it while charging. The whole internet makes fun of it. But it's a conscious decision and nothing that manufacturers can't easily solve differently. Battery overheating is nonsense because the devices don't charge super fast and don't have a powerful processor. With cell phones, completely different currents flow and they do get warm, but that's not a problem. The manufacturers can solve all this if they want to. I suspect one reason will be that the USB C port also serves as an aux port (because sony wanted to save a few cents and didn't install a separate one) But that could also be solved by the device recognizing whether it is charging or just an aux device. No problem, if sony wants it.

    @@Mastermoussa - We can't really guess or speculate why they designed their neckband speaker and headphones this way. We can only report about how it works. It's not an issue with in-ear headphones since they only charge in their case and it's kinda hard to wear them while they're in their case. :)

  • @Mastermoussa
    @Mastermoussa7 сағат бұрын

    @@ecoustics If it is not fixable by software, the reason is cost saving. Thats why i don't have bluetooth in ears. And thats a very bad comparison on top. Because 1. the in ears always charge as soon as you put them out of your ear (as long as you don't want to lose them) 2. thats a completely different size and concept. The neckbands speaker is one piece and not seperated. It is designed to use it on your couch while watching TV. You are stationary there and it is easy to just plug it in as soon as the battery goes low. Like this you have to always charge it to not have it empty (or permanently check the battery status) and everyone knows how much the batteries degrade when they are at full charge or at low charge.

    I bit the bullet and purchased a TCL 85C 805K here in the UK. Its a 144hz 85 inch qled mini led panel with extremely good black levels thanks to its VA screen. Its blown me away how much quality you can get for the price (£1500). I used to use premium 55inch lg CX oled and it is surprising how close this can get IQ wise. In the negatives i will say the out of the box colours and settings were awful and its taken me a fair amount of time to dial in the settings for colpur accuracy. For anyone wavering on whether to go big or stay smaller but get higher quality I would say take the jump and go as big as you can afford.

    To the naysayers I disagree, it's a shot in the right direction for JBL. Mind you it's not for everyone, including myself, but they want the same demographic that buy the portable Bluetooth stuff to buy this. In the end if it sounds good people will buy it. For the younger generation that are more into looks they will also buy it. Should be a win for JBL.

    OLED TV'S are Overrated, Over Priced TV'S for Snobs, who have No Clue about Picture Quality!!!! The Only thing that OLED has is Deep Blacks, and a slight edge on Contrast levels. Things that are hard to see the Difference on without extreme Concentration. QLED TV'S are Much Brighter with Much more Vibrant Colors than OLED TV'S. This is what 95% of Consumers want. Plus the Majority of Consumers shop for the Least Expensive options when they buy. They are Not Seeing the Contrast and Black Level differences that most Honest Reviewers cannot see themselves (They have to take out calibration measuring equipment when they talk about it because what is on the TVS are Not showing a Visible Difference.)
