I use my 100 2.8 APO on M + visoflex. It has lost none of its charm. Also converted 21 4., 28 & 35 shift lenses, 65 macro

De adapter Is een K&F concept en idd Leica R lenzen zijn een joint venture met Minolta, het glas is Leica glas zoals de Minolta Rokkor lenzen voor het M systeem, probeer ze maar eens te bemachtigen? Mijn adapter koste me 22€ nieuw een origineel koste toen 370€......... Groetjes Rony

En ik was van plan om een adapter ring te kopen om de originele bajonet Ring van Leica te vervangen . Goede morgen Ben, ik gebruik deze lenzen meestal op een canon 5D met adapter en niet zoveel op die M240 om eerlijk te zijn. Die adapter heb ik gekocht voor een 20€ denk ik en dat werk goed, het is geen high-class maar werk. Instellingen op de canon ISO naargelang de omgeving, sluitertijd op aut. En de f: op de lens naar keuze + de witbalans ook aanpassen en die lenzen werken perfect. Die 2x convector gebruik ik enkel op die 180mm en anders blijft die 60mm macro erop hou van deze lens. Een 2x convector vinden...... ja? Het internet afschuimen of 2e hands en regelmatig kijken of er aangeboden worden. Succes Mvg Rony

Claudio, for me i think it's thé cams on thé lens. Thé older models have only 1 cam, later models even 3 that's for aperture priority. But i don't understand why is a problem? I have a R4, R6 use them on my M240 and even on my Canon D5 ???? I prosume if it's a 1 cam that's thé problem.

Hello Rumeel, on thé terminal whe normale don't crank thé landing gear. When whe drive onboard they have you be up because otherwise if you drive to topdeck of lowerhold off ship you damage one of theother...... and you have a damageclaim 🥴

21 years as a stevedore in Helsinki, of which 16 years driving tugmasters (all Sisu/ Kalmar in my workplace), straddle carriers and reach stackers. The smaller the vessel, the narrower the lanes, and the tighter the spot to place the trailer, the more I like it. Gotta love it no safety helmets on this video - I honestly hate them so much.

I noticed R lenses come in 1-cam, 2-cam or 3-cam. Do all these versions adapt to M bodies. What will you be missing with 1-cam over 3-cam?

Yes they do, if you adapt to one digital camera this Will do nothing. In thé years thé reflex (R) camera where having more features thé lenses had to communicate with thé bodies this was all mechanical that's why. So on your digital M camera you have to work on live vieuw and on film M it's a guess.

Really appreciate the video. The shots with the 60mm Elmarit macro look fantastic! Lots of my photos are of my dog - so maybe this is a good lens for me to look for. I've just started to collect some R lenses for my Leicaflex SL. It's great to know that in the future it is possible for me to enjoy them on an M body (or indeed an SL) with the right adaptor.

@@photographycyclist good morning my god sorry too hear about your incident and you were very lucky you weren't thrown through the window..yes them goosenecks can be very dangerous especially a unloaded maffi or if fifth wheel was too high at speeds in reverse empty.. we don't do lo.lo anymore in Dublin p&o just trailers thank god..I also noticed that you drive left hooker's we only have right hooker's but still them terbergs are good solid machine's and if maintained properly they go forever.. best regards too all and keep up good work .. @@photographycyclist geweldig... In de laatste 3 jaar zowat alles wat ik ooit wou aan mn collectie toegevoegd (Hasselblads, Rolleiflexes, Contax, Nikon, Leica etc). Heb nu bijna de volledige numerische M reeks en wat leuke lensjes maar een black paint is een van de enige dingen die mij nog warm kunnen krijgen. Mocht je die ooit van de hand doen, mag je me altijd contacteren :) Ook al een tijdje bezig met het repareren van analoge toestellen (zeer moeilijk als jonge nieuwkomer tussen alle oude rotten) en vind de Leica M series nog altijd de leukste om aan te werken!

Leuk om nog een Leica enthousiasteling in Vlaanderen te vinden ;) Ik kocht 2 jaar geleden mn eerste Leica. Een M3 aangezien dat het enige was wat ik me als 22-jarige kon veroorloven. Ondertussen al een hele M verzameling en ook wat R materiaal. Enkele R bodies en een Safari Summilux-R 50mm f1.4. Wil hem zeker ook eens op één van mn analoge M bodies gebruiken. Enige nadeel is dat je met analoog niet anders kan dan zone focusing te gebruiken. Zeker op 1.4 is dat dus niet erg evident. Interessante video! ;)

The Standard lenses like 50mm f:2 or 28mm,35mm f:2.8 around 100 tot 150€ depents on condition , with of without box. The special lenses let's say 16mm Fisheye 60mm macro go for around 350€ and even the 21mm super angulon f:4 even more than 700€. Look on the net and don't decied to fast, there are good bargains.

In digital cinema cameras many of these lenses are being bought up. Then converted to a cine lens. F stop ring de clicked. Big gear added on the focus ring. Sometimes the modification changes the lens mount to canon eos.

If you have to choose between a adapter and a 50 mm M lens i'll choose the adapter. If you have a M 50 summicron you don't. Quality is the same but the R lens is bigger and more heavy.

I noticed R lenses come in 1-cam, 2-cam or 3-cam. Do all these versions adapt to M bodies. What will you be missing with 1-cam over 3-cam?
Yes they do, if you adapt to one digital camera this Will do nothing. In thé years thé reflex (R) camera where having more features thé lenses had to communicate with thé bodies this was all mechanical that's why. So on your digital M camera you have to work on live vieuw and on film M it's a guess.
Really appreciate the video. The shots with the 60mm Elmarit macro look fantastic! Lots of my photos are of my dog - so maybe this is a good lens for me to look for. I've just started to collect some R lenses for my Leicaflex SL. It's great to know that in the future it is possible for me to enjoy them on an M body (or indeed an SL) with the right adaptor.
Leica SL would be a great combination with R lenses, optical vieuwfinder......

@@photographycyclist the adapter is a complete disappointment because it doesn't allow me to focus on the rangefinder, if i knew that i wouldn't have bought it. the telemeter just dont work with it

Good morning Damien, whe don't use the chains, only one time i replay having a incident with that! Was pulling a empty maffi to athor location and on the way at full trottle it jump out off the neck, was Lucky no major damage. Greetings Rony
@@photographycyclist good morning my god sorry too hear about your incident and you were very lucky you weren't thrown through the window..yes them goosenecks can be very dangerous especially a unloaded maffi or if fifth wheel was too high at speeds in reverse empty.. we don't do lo.lo anymore in Dublin p&o just trailers thank god..I also noticed that you drive left hooker's we only have right hooker's but still them terbergs are good solid machine's and if maintained properly they go forever.. best regards too all and keep up good work .. Got more dangerous atm. I work at tessport and we have started doing goose necks Mafis on the weather deck and tank deck. Very dangerous sometimes. Especially in bad weather

I work at the Immingham port RORO cars ect and the tugs are all over the place. It always fascinates me watching them maneuvering but batters my head how they do it.

Jah idd, met een 35mm summilux met goggels voor de M3. Aha een kenner 👍
@@photographycyclist geweldig... In de laatste 3 jaar zowat alles wat ik ooit wou aan mn collectie toegevoegd (Hasselblads, Rolleiflexes, Contax, Nikon, Leica etc). Heb nu bijna de volledige numerische M reeks en wat leuke lensjes maar een black paint is een van de enige dingen die mij nog warm kunnen krijgen. Mocht je die ooit van de hand doen, mag je me altijd contacteren :) Ook al een tijdje bezig met het repareren van analoge toestellen (zeer moeilijk als jonge nieuwkomer tussen alle oude rotten) en vind de Leica M series nog altijd de leukste om aan te werken!
Leuk om nog een Leica enthousiasteling in Vlaanderen te vinden ;) Ik kocht 2 jaar geleden mn eerste Leica. Een M3 aangezien dat het enige was wat ik me als 22-jarige kon veroorloven. Ondertussen al een hele M verzameling en ook wat R materiaal. Enkele R bodies en een Safari Summilux-R 50mm f1.4. Wil hem zeker ook eens op één van mn analoge M bodies gebruiken. Enige nadeel is dat je met analoog niet anders kan dan zone focusing te gebruiken. Zeker op 1.4 is dat dus niet erg evident. Interessante video! ;)

The Standard lenses like 50mm f:2 or 28mm,35mm f:2.8 around 100 tot 150€ depents on condition , with of without box. The special lenses let's say 16mm Fisheye 60mm macro go for around 350€ and even the 21mm super angulon f:4 even more than 700€. Look on the net and don't decied to fast, there are good bargains.

In digital cinema cameras many of these lenses are being bought up. Then converted to a cine lens. F stop ring de clicked. Big gear added on the focus ring. Sometimes the modification changes the lens mount to canon eos.

If you have to choose between a adapter and a 50 mm M lens i'll choose the adapter. If you have a M 50 summicron you don't. Quality is the same but the R lens is bigger and more heavy.
