No issue with the cohab selection here, as you've probably seen, I've kept Olive millipedes in mine for years. Royals have never been proved to eat lizards in the wild so no problem there in theory. All I would say, I assume you've got these geckos from ihs show and put them in the vivarium on the same or next day? That's what the video suggests. Personally I would quarantine any reptiles before introducing them together, especially as they came from a show. There's very little risk I know, but always best err on the side of caution.

Yes mate, your setup with the olive millipedes was definitely inspiring for me, without a doubt! Someone in the comments has mentioned you as well to be fair bro! @@riddlerreptiles think the fogger was 50 and humidistat 18 as far as i can remember. Water lasts forever in the reservoir mate. I really recommend it will help those plants too. Maybe a thing to get on your to do list lol not the end of the world if you dont though mate
First
I literally had purchased all my lumber already, and was starting to feel a little overwhelmed. Watched your video, and I'm completely excited and remotivated. Mine is going to be almost exactly like this, only 1 foot longer, and a 1 foot ledge on 3 sides for added water garden
I fully get that! When it comes to this amount of water - it can be really daunting! Always wondering and hoping that it'll work! But it is always worth it in the end! I have since had to reinforce this build slightly, but that was purely down to my initial mistake that I mentioned in the video! Sounds like a great plan my friend, good luck! I hope it works out beautifully for you!
Oh wow!! Great build, can’t wait to see how they go ❤
@@cocos.herpitiles_x thank you 💜 so far, so good!
Handsome chap xx
@@Alexwjonesphotos thanks hun xx
I wonder if it’s similar to isopods and blue tongue skinks? Like they’re so small the skink won’t waste his energy on a tiny isopod. Fingers crossed that’s the same for the geckos 😅
I think so! Unless obviously they got SO hungry they were to take whatever they could get, but obviously it’s up to us to make sure they don’t get to that point 😂 sometimes they act like they’re being starved though hahaha. We’re a few weeks in now, and so far, so good! 🤞
Good one mate, now I'm looking forward to seeing some monitor lizard stuff in the future 😁
Thank you my friend! And don’t worry, that’s coming 👀😂
@@riddlerreptiles I know 😁, insider knowledge 😂😂
@@scandinavian_goannas 😂😂 damn.. it’s a small hobby!
@@riddlerreptiles yep 😂😂, or we just know the same people 🤔
@@scandinavian_goannas yeah that’s probably it 😂
Can we get an update please 😢
Big BIG things coming soon my friend!
@@riddlerreptiles OK 🙂🙂🙂
I think you're good! As long as you have plans for is something does go tits-up, and you're confident in your work, and it's as you said, safe, I don't see why not! I feel you're setting a good example 💛 And I think you've just solved my relationship or millipede argument between me and my fiancée 😂👀 She unfortunately gets major squeamish about the legs
Yeah for sure, always gotta have a backup plan 😁 but so far I still have no concerns, I still see these little geckos popping out to drink off of the leaves after a spray down, and it’s so sweet! Thank you for the kind words 💜 Haha as in I’ve ruined your chances of getting a millipede?? If that’s a case then I’m sorry! 😭😂 everyone deserves a millipede! They’re so cool! 😂
Could this be designed with a glass bottom? I have an idea for one
To be fair mate, I don’t see why not! I’d be tempted myself but funds currently won’t let me 😂 if you do it, please feel free to keep me up to date with it!
Iv legit been building up to do the same in my big carpet python setup, just want to establish more plants for bugs to eat and bugs for geckoes to eat.
Yeah that’s a great shout to be fair! Honestly so far I’m so happy with it and haven’t had a single problem, and I’m very confident it’ll stay that way. Have you got a gecko species in mind that you want to house with your carpet?
And yes I agree entirely, and should’ve been clearer; whilst I collected them from the show, they were from a trusted source and I met them at the show to collect, otherwise I completely agree mate
