Hiya,
I am Lisa, originally from Malaysia and now reside in beautiful sunny Perth, Australia.
I am the creator, recipe developer, photographer to Lisa's Lemony Kitchen food blog ( www.mykeuken.com/ ).
I love to cook, to photograph what I cook and eat.
I am currently comfortable shooting food and trying to broaden my horizon with landscape and portrait, but my passion still lies with food photography (simply because they don't move, pull a long face and I can eat after :D...)
Thank you for showing your love and support to this channel and my food blog.
Much appreciated!!!
Lisa xx

What can i add instead of miso
If you are not a fan of miso or miso is not easy to get, then just omit miso.
@@LisasLemonyKitchen ....hello greetings from Suriname South-America....here in my country they don't sell miso or probably they don't know it...
@@hennakromokarijo3837 Hello there :) I am honored to have you watching my video and leaving a comment! Wow..Suriname is the other side of where I am :)
Hi Lisa, can i pour in small cups . Tq
Hi Nalini, Steaming took 4 hours, may not be suitable for small cups, in my humble opinion.

How much flour was added to that yudane mixture? Ty!😊
In the video, 50g flour to 50ml water to make yudane
@@LisasLemonyKitchen I was referring to the main dough that was not shown..😊
@@bggines_1260 I made fruit loaf using yudane. Here is the link to the recipe :) www.mykeuken.com/2023/08/easy-fruit-loaf.html
@@LisasLemonyKitchen l seen the pictures of the bread. I became curious when somebody used it in steamed bun! My buns are soft but the outside look was not that smooth so I'd like to find out if yudane/tangzhong would help solve my dough🫢!
@@bggines_1260 I have yet to try yudane on steamed buns. And for steamed buns, I used low-protein flour and not-so-high heat when steaming. Hope this help :)
How much sugar you put in
1 cup
Where can I buy the squeeze thing to pour out the batter to the baking tray? Please share some purchase link?
Hi If you are in Malaysia or Singapore, you can easily find the nozzle in the baking shop. And if you not residing in the countries mentioned above, you can use any cookies presser. Hope that helps.
Is it possible to cook the dough on stovetop and achieve the same results? If so how hot and long would you think I would need to cook it for
Oh wow, I just started practicing how to make anpan and I didn't realize I needed this. Still gotta start with the basics, but hopefully I'll try this soon enough.
All the best in anpan baking :)
Just know that taehyungeei love this💜
It looks really delicious ❤
It is and so easy to make :)
@@LisasLemonyKitchen I'll make sure to try it, thank you!!
How come you don’t brown the meat first?
Browning meat is usually for Western cooking. This is rendang (Malaysian cuisine), no need to brown the meat.

Can we make it with Milk instead of water??
Milk tends to split if we are to bring it to a boil :(. It is best to add milk to the dry ingredients instead of water.
Okay..... The measurements please.....😅....... Thank you for the video 😊.....
I can use this thangzhong with pre ferment "sponge"
Amazing!!! Looks like a slice of heaven. Your method is so quick and easy, thanks for sharing.
