Who am I? I am a programmer, a writer, and most of all, a gamer. I've been playing computer games since "game" meant a bunch of pixelated images on an old TV. And I certainly have some opinions about how things have changed over the years, so expect to hear the good and the bad as we play at flipping houses.

You're master bedroom suite needs a sitting area with chairs and possibly a TV or bookshelf instead of the extra wardrobes. Another thought I had...would you consider a bathroom on the second floor instead of three bathrooms. You can do your videos whichever way you feel like filming them. Do one each way. That is a very tall house. Glad you found a way to work around the height issue. I'm looking forward to the next part. 🍫 for Ali and Merc. Here's an idea: The leaf room could definitely be a closet with your wardrobes in it for that bedroom. The entire third floor could be a master suite with a luxurious bathroom, double closets, etc.

Thanks. This year seems to have melted away. Now I'm looking for something interesting to do for year number 2. Ideas? I don't mean for the anniversary, but this year. I feel as though I'm getting in a rut.
Wow, what a difference! That was a lot of work. The open plan for kitchen and dining was nice. 🍫 for Merc and Ali. A buyer you don't usually get, unfortunately, that was a profit you would expect from an apartment. The garden contest really helps. Happy Anniversary 🎂
Yeah, I was really lazy on these flips. I put very little into the gardens and that makes a huge difference, just like you said.

You need to change the window above the counter and get rid of the windowsill. You should be able to add it back in after you finish the counter. I’m so glad you did t lose your game. I am terrified every time I play this game now. 😮 I hope they fix this game soon!

@@malzy1977 I'll try that! We're back to House Flipper 1 for this week because it's the channel's first anniversary but I'll try that change before I do my next HF2 video.
@@IreneSmith one thing g I learned from playing and building for hundreds of hours in Fallout 4 is that build order matters. Lol. I also figured out the windowsill trick when placing kitchen cabinets in HF 2. Add the windowsill after placing your cabinets down, and then you can match the windowsill to the countertops making it look seamless.

Hurray! Finally, some of the things you have been waiting for are back in the game. 🍨 delivery, how nice. 🍫 for Merc and Ali. I think you should try a roof just for the experience. If it drives you crazy then go with the flat roof. I vote for Living room on the right/ not the room with the stairs.
Hmm, maybe I’ll move it over the weekend. Actually, it sort of makes sense because the room with the stairs opens directly into the kitchen.

I bought the reef cottage today for Tuesday or Thursday. I also have three different houses in HF2 to show.
It's nice to revisit the building you had your first office in. Nice "guest appearances." I really like the floor plan inset in HF 1. It's a shame they didn't keep that. Omg I remember those chairs. That couch looks like a torture device! 🍫 for Merc and Allie.
I know! I miss the floor plan. It helps a lot. It would be cool if they could bring it back and then let us turn it off separately from the rest of the UI. Maybe I'll suggest it on the website they created for proposing game ideas.

Well, like I said, this was one of the offices I had around the time I got pets. In fact, the dog I have not, named "Coco" (in the game) was my first pet.

🍫 for Merc. For the washer and dryer, you could wall them off from the front door now that you have rotated them. Arches upstairs were a good idea. 🧋🧊 for Irene. I think your profit may have gone higher if you had redone the siding and porch, etc. I don't know if the game "counts those things that are missed." Good job. Hope your back feels better.

I know I’m super late to the party. I’m sorry. I’ve been so busy with work. But, I really like how this one came out! I love the art studio. I think it would have been cute to turn the outhouse into a flowerbed. You can change the color of the wine. You just click on the color wheel and you can make it red.

I love the studio/ gallery. If you ever make one again you could put up a table with wine and glasses with cheese maybe, like it is set up for a paint and sip session. Nice job. 🍫 for Merc.

I'm late to the video, but with the bathroom, you could have put the tub along the other wall parallel to the stairs. It may have saved you some trouble. Can you recolor the tub, like you do other items? In this bathroom, the tub is the only piece that isn't white. I love that you went with the traditional red for siding. 🍫 for Merc.
So funny, I was drinking coffee just as you said you could use a cup. What a difference. I really like the kitchen in HF2. I'm glad you figured out the roofing problem. I'm looking forward to the barn renovation. It could be a great place for an artist to live and work. Maybe even have a separate small building as a studio/gallery. 🍫 for Merc ☕️ for Irene.

There is a house near mine that is for sale right now. It is just over 500 square feet, and they want almost $300,000 for it. No joke!! Also, we lost my mother in law just over 2 years ago as well, and I miss her every day, too. Cute house! Happy Mother’s Day! #chocolateforMerc
Yeah, it's crazy. I looked up my paternal grandmother's house in the Bronx recently and it is valued at over $600k. I couldn't believe it.

🍫 for Merc. The open bathroom plan is a real design choice. For the windows in the master suite, just image that they are those fancy smart windows. The ones you can set to frost over. BTW is there a bathroom downstairs?

The grandma apartment should have its own designated bathroom, and the ground floor area needs its own. The little kitchen needs another cabinet to look like a real kitchen, or it looks accidental. It also may work better on the opposite side by the door leading outside. The TV is hanging off the table. I think the bedroom by the first garage would have been for the butler. 🍫 for Merc. I'm looking forward to the next part.
I agree. Grandma's bathroom is separate, but I couldn't find another place to add one downstairs. Oh, and once I thought of the bedroom and bathroom as a private suite, it bothered me a whole lot less. 😀

Is it possible to place a shower outside? Many beach houses have an outdoor shower, so you can wash the sand off your body and swimwear before entering the house. It saves your washing machine too. I'm way past adult, and I only just achieved bedroom furniture that all matches 😂. I think the dollhouse is small and needs to be on a table. Hi Merc! 🍫

🍫 for Merc. Seating with table and plants would be nice upstairs. A grill and bar area would be nice. Can't stairs go down against a wall? It may give more usable space in the living room area. I think you are right, there is no space for a kitchen island. Laundry and maybe desk area downstairs; or half bath.
The way the basement was made, I don't think there's a way to put them against the wall in this property. And, unfortunately, you can't create a basement in story mode. I need to become more comfortable with sandbox mode. I just hate to do that because you can't sell the property afterwards.
