  There are ways to do windows 11 now... Just make sure your processor speed is over 2.4ghz or you will have slow issues even with the ssd

  My laptop is a Lenovo as well I've tried this method however as soon as it starts up it shuts down immediately afterwards without any warning. Would you possibly have any ideas about this problem and why it comes up?

  I also had a liquid cooling system (corsair hydro H100 v2) and i think that water dissapeared. I back to air normal coller, it is better.

  Sir, my laptop model number is HP 15-ay019. It supports 2.5ghz WiFi. Its model name is RTL8723BE 802.11 b/g/n WiFi. I want to use dual channel, both 2.5ghz and 5ghz. Will my internal card support 5ghz WiFi? Will my motherboard support it? My motherboard's model number is (81EF) please tell me sir. What should I do, please sir?

  Thank you for some anxiety relief. I’ve bought an aorus 5 se4 year ago and now decided to replace 16 gb of ram to 32, plus add second ssd. Never had experience to change hardware by myself hence laptop stopped to boot after showing bios and other hotkeys. And deadly anxiety came to me realizing that maybe laptop is unrecoverable. (I’ve tried to use previous ram and remove new ssd, but it still doesn’t work). And there aren’t much topics to solve this. Spent all my evening to do that, and looks like I’m going to service😭

  Thats a serial problem of this brand. I have an Ideapad 5 which cost 600€ and after around 3 years shows this sympton. It's the second device I got from them and both showed issues. Just got a new laptop from a new brand, never again a Lenovo.

  How is it going to work with the bios battery disconnect .you did not try the battery to see if it was charged.

  The CMOS battery is there to keep the settings in the CMOS. It's not required for the computer to work. Removing it clears the CMOS settings back to the factory defaults.

  The problem iam having with my acer laptop is the battery is dead but it still use to boot up now it would thak 5 minutes to boot but now it would boot blue light is on I can here the hard drive cycle like it's trying to boot so I have try all the you tube fixs except changing the CMOS battery. You said it will work without the battery but if you google it it controls most functions time and date etcetera

  Hey Michael welcome back, I have a question I have an Asus 99x Delux for overclocking, water-cooled. Tried to replace the motherboard and chip I7 -5960x 3.00 GHZ installed Chasey speaker to hear what beeps are coming out of it. I tested the power supply and it checked out good but the problem is it turns on then shuts off and there is nothing except the 00 Qcode before it shuts off when bench checking the motherboard. When I bench check I have a graphics card, power supply, CPU, and monitor installed. Nothing shows on the screen, no beep from the chase speaker turns on for a split second shows a Qcode of 00, and shuts off. What am I doing wrong or am I missing something. Normally when building a PC rig you would hear the beeps from the chase speaker or get a good Qcode but 00 is reserved according to the manual. Currently, I am at a loss so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  It's pretty common for lower end laptops to not have a fan. The chips just don't get hot enough to require a fan.

  The fan would need a way to be powered. If the motherboard has a fan header on it for a CPU fan you probably could find one that would work. The next issue would be securing it in the case. I'm curious why you're concerned about the heat. Is the computer running slow? If it's running slow have you checked to see if the CPU is actually getting hot. It may be that the CPU is running as fast as it can, as fast as it meant to and it can't go any faster. Cooling it would not help. There's lots of softwares for checking temperature. Hardware info 64 is free. If the CPU is staying below 90° C heat is not an issue.

  I own one of these Laptops. I would say Windows 10 build 1909 ran pretty fast like 5-6 years ago but newer windows builds totally kill the performance. I rarely use it now and sometimes just for Window 7 legacy softwares and Linux

  After replacing my battery on Blade 14 (2022) the battery indicator is gone and I cannot start PC from battery, however after i lunched it from a power adapter, battery actually keeps laptop running even if I unplug power supply. Any ideas? Anyone else faced this?

  I got an old HP DV6580ee laptop. I replaced the DVD with as 12.7mm IDE to SATA caddy containing SSD. The DVD and caddy have the same size with the same IDE interface. The caddy is not detected. What to do now ?

  If the drive is new you need to go into disk management initialize it and put a partition on it. Do a Google search for your version of Windows and "disk management add new drive" and you should find some good instructions either on a site or a video.

  ​@@HA-yu8bdDid the DVD drive in the laptop work before you removed it? How sure are you you have the correct drive caddy? Are you sure the drive you're trying to put in that caddy actually works just regularly in another computer?

  Perfect except for one thing: when I log into ATT it immediately takes me to DirecTV. No option to manage secure mail key. I had one but changed my ATT password and need a new one.
