@@DJSlaughter hello Mr. Slaughter. I took a drive through the area yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! It wasn't at all what I was expecting. I did notice very limited cellphone service in most areas that I drove through. The GPS on my phone dropped my location several times. I wonder, is there a workaround that residents use for this issue?

I wholeheartedly agree! I'm actually getting really sick of Adobe. I recently bought a Mac and not a day goes by that I don't think about just going ahead and buying final cut pro. But premier is all I know so I'm having cold feet on pulling the trigger.
@@DJSlaughter I’m pretty sick of elements too, I always get it to work for me in the end, but I’ve had issues with them the whole time. It’s way easier to edit on the iMovie app on my iPhone.. if you have several small clips, they’re tiny in elements, you need to zoom in to pick them up and move them.. The way you layer videos and music is weird as well.. if you don’t structure it correctly, it comes out way messed up.. Thanks for commenting back!
@@RealJoshTv have you tried Adobe Rush for the iPad? I will say that is the only Adobe product that is somewhat reliable. I think you have to pay a monthly subscription for it but it's worth a shot

This is a great video. When researching this area, read that the black population is zero, so it is both refreshing and interesting to see an African American speaking about this town. With that being said, can you please provide some insight about living in this area as a POC?
Hi Tara, thanks for your question! Dawsonville is actually starting to become more diverse which is awesome. I have had no issues living in Dawsonville. This is definitely home!

Thank you! I was feeling overwhelmed by all the settings, I decided to not change anything, just made sure it was mp4 and ran it and whatever it was already set at worked!

could i rent a home for under 600.00 per month or a 2 bedroom apartment in dawson ? i now live in merrill,wis plan to move there in april
It's pretty much impossible to find a place for $600 a month out here. I'll see what I can find though. But for the most part you're looking at at least paying $1,000 a month for most places out here
we rent a house out in Dawsonville. 3 bedroom 1 bath for $800 if interested.
@@DJSlaughter Someone online today told me to look into Dawsonville to relocate away from Florida's hurricanes, etc. & for a nice small mountainous town. They said rent is not too bad there especially in comparison to Florida's east coast. But, it sounds like rent is high. Why is it so expensive to rent there? Do u handle rental properties too? Where else do u recommend I look for information about that area?

Does the quality of the video compression reduces also? I saw VLC media player does the same thing but one thing i dont like is that the quality of the original video reduces its compression.

Thanks so much for making this vid mate, had just sat down ready to make a vid from a trip I've done. Didn't have my camera with me and shot it on my iphone! All was comin up just audio, needless to say was a little upset but this vid saved me!! Legend.

Dude. while it took a while, I had to load the files one at a time, this WORKED!!! thanks for the suggestion of handbrake. It totally worked for my iphone to premiere elements .mov issues. good luck with your channel.

This problem has gone all the way back to CS 5.5, if not earlier. I don't think Adobe is ever going to catch on to this bug.
Unfortunately that looks like that's going to be the case. If they can fix the bug
thank you. we were going this route but you confirmed the issue. handbrake is the ugly solution until Adobe has a fix. We were having this problem with footage from a Parrot Anafi Drone.
I'm glad this helped. It is irritating and time consuming but unfortunately it is the solution for now. I will say part of the blame is a bad camera. Ever since I got rid of the problem camera and upgraded it with something better, I haven't had that issue come up again.
@@DJSlaughter Interesting point about the bad camera. The problem footage is off a new Parrot Anafi drone... of course the manufacturer says nothing is wrong.
@@markkoep4157 yeah the problem happened with my brand new Yi 4k out of the box and of course after contacting the manufacturer all they said was just factory reset the camera which of course did nothing. It is definitely a problem with both the camera and premiere. I just wish that either party would acknowledge it.
