You are so organized. Like me you have something decorative to look at wherever you look. You also like symmetry like me, I like things to be balanced.
Love all your furniture, all goes well together. I'm someone who doesn't likey jewelry hanging all over the place, but also don't like in boxes. So I use my top drawers . I later with a soft white fabric and then lay out the jewelry in areas, rings, earrings, and necklaces. At the moment I have three top drawers. One silver jewellery, one black and one for gold.

I have been a reseller since 1998. I have switched what my main focus is a few times as the market changes and as I personally change as well. I started on eBay selling clothing and currently sell on Poshmark and Etsy selling vintage housewares, toys and games, kitchen items, and a smattering of vintage clothing. If you are interested in a really, really good piece about the ethics of reselling there is a podcast by Clotheshorse about the ethics of resale. I HIGHLY recommend it.
I use vinegar instead of fabric softener. It works just as well without damaging clothes and especially the machine. I agree saving from the bins are prob the most ethical other than that I like hitting the dollar sales at goodwill
I'm a reseller too and I still do my own shipping through USPS because I don't know if it will be cheaper to go through Depop (to get printed labels) and lose control over the shipping... I've kinda figured out what mailer to use to get the cheapest rate through USPS. I sell on Poshmark too and the printed labels are actually way easier on that platform, so I might switch to "ship with Depop". The shipping prices are crazy though... really pissing me off lately lol. Thanks for sharing this, just subscribed <3
what makes me so mad is that they also removed the shipping prices for us as sellers (which i get why so people don't lie and choose the cheapest) but when people complain about the prices im like !! i dont even know what the prices are lol! it really only affects for the heavier items like sweaters, coats and shoes. otherwise it's truly so convenient to just ship through them!
@@symphoniecameron Oh that's interesting, yeah I've never used the ship with Depop feature so I'm surprised you can't even tell what the shipping cost will be on your item, maybe it calculates based on the buyers location? On Poshmark I had to send a really heavy leather jacket to Guam once I'm like where the heck is Guam 🤣so I had to upgrade the label and that came out of my "Earnings" but it was due to the weight of the item. I'd rather pay to have the right label than have it sent back to me and the buyer get angry!

The checkered floor looks so nice with the existing tile! Bonus it ties in your stovetop and oven. Also, love how the bookshelf’s paired together, I need to keep that in my for myself when on the lookout for adding thrifted furniture, very motivating :)

The celestial pillow exactly matches a beautiful throw blanket I had as a kid but burned in a fire a few years ago! Where did you get it?!? I’d love to find that pattern again.
oh goodness i thrifted it YEARS ago, i wish i knew where it was from/who it was made by! try looking online for celestial patterned things, maybe you could find something on ebay or depop!

i like the parquet floor but honestly think you'll be helping to preserve it by covering it with the sticky tiles. i feel like wood floors in a kitchen isn't ideal anyway with potential spills or water damage. plus checkerboard floors are the best! i'm definitely buying these for my entryway now!!
Hey. Me and the wife liked your apartment update. We always liked the tile in the kitchen. Now we love the black and white tile on the floor. Those hardwood squares are called 'parquet' pronounced parkay. The B&W tile looks much better than the parquet.
