I strongly identify with a lot of your struggles from 2023 honestly… ESPECIALLY the feeling lonely/feeling like I don’t have a lot of friends besides my bf. Also, if you need more friends, I’m so down plus I’m a St. Louis native too so definitely lmk if you need a friend 😊

ugh i seriously relate to the loneliness you're describing. i have some really good friends from college and high school, but almost all of them live far away now and are super busy so i feel like i don't even have friends anymore. and then a few years ago i had a falling out with my absolute bff (we were like spiritual twins if that even makes sense lmao) and it STILL hurts so bad--also she lives like only 2 minutes away from me so we could have had so many good times but whatever i guess lol 😭lowkey wish i could be friends with you since you have such good vibes but idk if that's a weird/parasocial-y thing for me to say

Ik that weddings/marriage are obviously super personal but maybe eloping would be something to consider? I eloped last year and I loved it!! and haven’t regretted it one bit. Weddings can be crazy expensive and I just wanted to be married!! The experience of an actual wedding wasn’t important to me but of course that’s different for everyone :-)

i've honestly been leaning towards this idea a lot more lately!! we're definitely not planning on going the most traditional route regardless but i think for the actual "wedding" side of things i would strongly prefer to elope and maybe just have a couple friends & family members there at most! something private and intimate is for sure the most us and we'd love to do it somewhere beautiful in nature🫶🏻 but we've also talked about just having more of a reception/party for everyone to be able to come to to celebrate us getting married along with that!
