  Because Muslim rulers were killing Hindus by the thousands and yet Indian history glorifies them. History books talk much about the Mughals etc. and ignore truly magnanimous kings like Rajaraja Chola. So the books have to be rewritten and made more factual!

Although, I am curious about (and I do think that this is important to ask because it was mentioned in the introduction) as to how a refusal of Padma Bhushan can go hand - in- hand with the ACCEPTANCE OF THE JOHN KLUGE PRIZE 😂 The latter is ALSO a state award, with a multi-billion dollar endowment by a former richest American entrepreneur, and a centre that is housed and maintained in the AMERICAN FEDERAL GOVT's Library of Congress 😅 Umm hypocrisy much 🤭
