My name is Jarl and my goal is to inspire and share my adventures in the north with you. My channel focus on van life, winter storms, blizzards, snow storms, backpacking, hiking, camping, canyoneering, winter camping and survival. Nights spent in a van or tent, under a tarp, alone or with friends. From the snow covered mountains and misty fjords of the Arctic North, to the remote plateaus of Yellowstone and the debts of the red canyons of Utah to the summit of Mt Whitney and the heart of Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park in California. I love the Wilderness!

Have you ever thought how many days it would be possible to stay in the van in winter? I guess the amount of and usage of the gas limits the time.
Yes I think of that all the time, around 10 days should be ok

I love storms. It does not snow here, but that snow storm/blizzard looked amazing. I love your cozy van and how you show everything that is happening outside!!! FYI, if. You’re doing a lot of off grid parking, a 2000watt generator would be a big help with keeping electronics charged. … not to mention other uses. Have had a generator in my van for off grid parking.
