Considering one of these can it do like an 3D eagle head? Or other 3d custom detailed objects?
You guys can't even maintain your instructional videos on using these machines, yet here is this greasy huckster with something to say. His mom could have at least washed his jeans first.
This video is useless. You have to maintain these types of videos to align with the current versions of the software. Especially if they are tied to a product that you are selling. Pull this video down and replace it with an updated version or nothing at all.

Thanks for the video information. Do you fit angular contact bearings on X Axis to both end's of the ball screw.
A shop full of tools like this and he can't build a rolling material cart, he lost half of that job walking to / from the welding table with parts..

If off .015 can’t you spilt the difference. Then use a 1 or 2 shims. If you don’t have the right size shim stock
This is off topic but do you guys plan on releasing a 4th axis for this machine?
There is not enough space for the 4th axis to be installed.

I love fusion but after 30 days it wouldn’t let me export anything. Is this normal? I signed up for the hobbyist license so I don’t know if I did something wrong. I have a ender 3 and a genmitsu 3018 router I play with.
That coolant flow is disgraceful might as well cut dry and let some of the chips fly away

@@jamiewoodhouse8363 I might be mistaken here but your saying you have a MR1 and your using a Tormach probe with it? If so can you explain a little how you did it?
@@rufustoad1 easy, all I had to do was take the connector of if the langmuier probe and put it on the tormach.

Were those holes cut with a plasma machine? They look clean and sharp.

When he says wipe down epoxy, wipe it off with acetone (nail polish remover). Use gloves of course. Let the rag off gas outside and add to your normal trash when doesn't stink so much.

How would you scale to fit a 3inchx1inch rectangle?
a part so clean he doesn't need to do any clean up after milling. clean dry and free from oils. can just slap that baby on the car without even applying gasket maker

not sure i understand we just build ours ? and the drain are not like these ? As for the curing, its been 5 days now and still sticky ?
Drain holes in 4x corners are models before 22 April 2024. The newer models seem the same, just relocated drains to the sides of the fixture plate and made them double wide. As for curing, if it's still sticky after five days, the mixture wasn't mixed thoroughly and it'll be a problem a long time. You should be able to add a skim coat and the hardener in it will react with the sticky epoxy and give a final nice set up. Don't need to rush this. Just make sure it's throughly mixed...can use auto epoxy from local store. If you need to thin it out, being a skim coat, thin it with acetone...like a cap full at a time until it's pretty runny. The acetone will evaporate out within 40 minutes and the epoxy will set up within the normal time.

Please for the love of god show how to calibrate the touch probe. I've calibrated it 4 times already. I have no idea how it keeps coming out of alignment.
They have an upgrade kit they have just released for the touch probe, because some folks have had issues with them not working properly (probably your case). They are selling them at cost on their website, they will ship in the next couple of weeks, according to them.
Very timely, my machine arrived last week, but doesn't have the new style drains. I am adding some that look similar to the new style.

I see a lot of complaints about factory drains. Could you upgrade and make a video of this?
MR-1 machines are now shipping with updated drains mounted on both sides of the baseplate. You can see the drains in this video. These drains have 1" pass through holes.
