    They did last year yeah. I tried to call up too before hand, they had no idea. There is a cabin next to the lake on the far side where you buy your ticket. There is only 4/6 swims in an area of the lake. If you go when it’s warm throw some bread in the margins on beach area, you can’t fish there but shows how many Carp there are. It’s nuts.

    Glad to see you are on the mend after a horrific experience last year. In my opinion I would steer clear of HWAS or only buy their river ticket as their lakes aren't very impressive. Church Farm holds some nice Carp but the lakes are small and busy and the middle (most popular lake) isn't easy by any stretch. Wyndhams you need to be Terry Hearn to catch on and Lakeside isn't very secure with numerous stories of cars being broken into. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do and look forward to your next video.

    Some good cold water angling there mate, I’ve recently stumbled across your channel, and saw you fishing at the Badshot Lea fishery & I’m thinking of possibly joining FAS. If you don’t mind me asking for your opinion, Do you think it’s worth joining? - I’ve just heard that there fishery’s can be very busy and unfriendly, especially Badshot. Cheers!

  • @AnEverydayAngler
    @AnEverydayAngler4 ай бұрын

    I loved the Farnham waters. And Badshot for me was my favourite, but others like Stockbridge lake are also excellent. To be honest when I was looking at joining everyone said it was really busy and getting a swim will be an issue. I didn’t find that. I mainly fished weekend and always had space. Especially Badshot big lake, the lake is so big with so many swims I think it would be hard to fill it. I can only assume the busy bit will be the Yately waters, I didn’t really fish them. I’m only not joining this year as wanted to mix it up a bit so trying Hartley Whitney. Any questions just fire away mate.
