  May to August in Maldives is Monsoon season. We went in May end and the weather, as you can see in the video, was pleasant. Windy one day, sunny the other. It aslo rained in between. That is how the weather is during monsoon. However there can be days when it rains constantly. July and August is the riskiest of all months. Also during this time chances of water activities getting cancelled is higher. We were lucky the last day of our stay but before that all dolphin cruises were getting cancelled. The bright side of offseason is the prices dip drastically, giving you a much better deal on private islands.

  Total cost was 1.2 Lac for stay of 3 nights and 4 days with all meals included (food and drinks). Ticket cost was an additional 40 thousand. If booked early, tickets cost can come down to 30K. So total cost for 2 people, for an all inclusive package will be around 1.5 Lac.

  Thanks Ranveer. We paid around 1.6 lakh in total for the 3 of us, including flight tickets. Everything was free for our kid who is below 2 years of age. Our package inclusion : deluxe beach villa, fullboard meal, dolphin cruise, airport pickup and drop and spa.

  @@himanshuparikh6650 Hume flight tickets and 3 din ka full board meal le k 1.6 pada tha. But this can also be reduced if aap flight ticket jaldi book krte ho. We paid 40k for flight and 1.2 for full board meal for 3 days. This can change depending on what meal plan you book.

  Hi Abir, you need not carry a lot of cash with you. You can prepay most of the things online. For food, local tickets and shopping you will need cash. While these are subjective categories, in general you wouldn't need more than 30-40K INR.

  Hi Gowmara, our suggestion will be to withdraw at airport. If you still want to use the ATMs you can go with trusted local banks like BNI, BRI, BCA and bank Mandiri. Charges may vary from time to time.

  Cars usually can. Petrol vehicles more easily than the diesal ones. It is a function of vehicle condition and luggage. Ours was a hired diesel car. It struggled while going up with full luggage and all of us. So we walked up the ramp.
