Dougie Rankine is the former Editor of Total Vauxhall Magazine and owns several old Vauxhalls (current count is seven). He's joined by Pete Sell, who has owned a lot of cool stuff including a Monaro. I sent an email to truck and driver website over 7 weeks ago asking for dougie and got a reply from dougie on 30th april, he said ive been off for the last 2 weeks how can i help, then when i replied back he did not reply again. He had not made a video months before he replied to me. Strange.

I know a bloke who had an N reg 2.0L for many years. When he finally scrapped it due to corrosion it had done over 600k miles. One hell of a car.

Dougie's fine he's very busy with work on the truck and driver magazine the channel is more of a hobby for him I'm sure we'll see him in good time between magazines shoots and also doing a truck and driver podcast I'd say he's run off his feet

Hi, I’ve got a Cadillac BLS, and it was great watching this video. Do you know how I can get hold of the Cadillac diagnostic software or know of anyone near me in Redhill, Surrey areas who has? I need to clone my key fob and also check my ECU is faulty or not? Can’t start my car once I parked after a short 5-20min drive. When it does start it idles badly but when driving it seems good. Would be most grateful if I could talk to you for some advice? Thanks.
How nostalgically 90s is that seat fabric!? Looks straight out of 1995, which of course it was. You could get the Envoy with a 1.7TD and later 2.0Di engines too. Though I suspect this 1.6 was probably a more refined drive overall. Definitely not sporty, but quiet, relaxing and smooth. And of course good value. In truth the car became a lot nicer with the 99 facelift. CD and SRi trims upwards were really nice inside, and 2.0 16v and later 2.2 16v had very decent go. And of course the V6s were rapid and sounded amazing. I think you could breifly get the V6 in "Club" and GLS specs... Great sleeper cars they were, very, very rare, probably rarer than the Envoy? I wonder if theres any of those left now.

Evening all Please help before I end up scrapping my mk3 cav 1995 1.8 single injection.... 😂 I have a miss fire at idle. Changed everything ignition wise, new coolant sensor, new idle control valve, new 02 sensor, new maf sensor...... Along with the misfire I also get a bad smell of fuel every now and again! I am steering close to getting the injectior changed it's only one :) I have also checked for air leaks....please note it misfires from cold and normal running temps. Also changed the fuel filter :/ please if anyone can help it would be much appreciated!!

There’s some good rust evaporator sprays out there. It would make short work of the rust then prep/paint over.
Has this been put on a private plate as MOT check (yes, I still look out for it) doesn't list the reg?

It's a fake lotus never made a estate I used to work at lotus when it came to the 40 anniversary at the factory everyone who works there was doing the same thing I said it's a fake the company never made one

absolutely stonking car. Definitely make sure the sump has been cleaned and it has had the breather system upgrade. The spec you have for that car is pretty rare and I'm really hopeful you can give it the love it deserves. Getting rare now, i think they will go up in value in a few years and this spec and black is a great combo!
I stay in airdrie dougie and the memories of the old vauxhall garage at the top cross. (Watsons) It was an iconic image at the top of the town. Demolished years ago and now its an aldi. What a character of a building, now replaced with a faceless supermarket. I truly believe the watsons garage in my opinion was one of the most iconic. Check watsons garage airdrie on google. Soo many good pictures.!!
Absolutely amazing one off pocket rocket classic Vauxhall Lotus Carlton Estate. Vauxhall should buy this car and put it in a museum as the only Lotus they should have built at the same time as the Saloon model …. Let’s just hope no young silly lad gets their hands on it and destroys it that would be a shame.
