I'm a minimalist who loves motorbikes, real estate, and Thailand. Motorcycles and scooters because they're pure joy on wheels! Real estate because it gives me the financial freedom to live anywhere in the world. Thailand because it's incredibly easy to live a minimalist lifestyle surrounded by delicious food, happy people, and a culture that values serenity.
Over three years, 2017 -2019, I sold, donated, gave away, and threw away stuff, lots of stuff. Simplifying my life by removing doodads and distractions led to more freedom and happiness.
KZread and the many content creators sharing information have been an incredible resource that has helped me tremendously to reach my goals. I upload videos to share information that I hope is helpful to others; it's my way of giving back.

hello, which of these condos and apartments do you prefer I am looking for one in Pattaya for the month of October, thanks
Great comparison. All in all, it is a bit strange to me seeing your review with the Thailand setting but in English language. lol Great job.
Why not leave it in your wife’s name…. It’s only a scooter?
Very informative with all the relevant info, just the way you detail the riders height needed for each bike is super handy to know, plus power weight and price and most of all what they are like to live with in all sorts of scenarios is brilliant, well done I have subscribed.
It's definitely one of the better reviews.
Very informative video 👍👍
Happy to be helpful! 👊🏼
Dude fantastic review straight to the point. Personally , I kind of like the look of the three fifty a little more , even though the head may look a little wide compared to the 750! Have you ever ridden a bird mind four hundred and if so , would you say The 350 rides Or overall a more Enjoyable ride experience.? I lost my Bergman 650 8 years ago Thanks to a hit-and-run even though it only feels like it happened last year. I'm looking for something new Right now I am deciding on either the Kymco AK550 or this 350. Your input would be highly appreciated!
Nice work. Simple to understand and speedy delivery with no waste. Other reviewers could learn a thing or two. Thanks for showing us around!
I'm looking for a gym and trainer to do Strongman training. Any idea?
Oh, wow. I have yet to see any gyms or trainers in Thailand that would qualify for strongman training.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple I haven't found any either. I'm also frustrated with trying to find a trainer that is going to pay attention to what I want, which is strength training, not bodybuilding.
@@mattlawrence7130 I've also noticed most trainers don't seem too serious or motivated when training with clients. The exception is the Muy Thai trainers.
Thank you, how much costs beef ?
You're welcome. I can't remember what the price of beef is; I never buy it. I eat chicken and pork in Thailand, and I eat beef when I'm in the US. I've never had good Thai beef. Fortunately, Australian beef is available in Thailand. It's very good.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple thanks man
I see you also live at pattaya;) would like to meet and talk about bikes
Sounds great! Send me an email. [email protected]
this friend would never live in this dump
😆 Good enough for my Thai lady is good enough for me.
Would love for you to do a TMAX vs XADV comparison!
That would be a good comparison video. 👌🏼
Okay..... Just like every other video like this, it's never stated whether it's Australian dollars? New Zealand dollars? Canadian dollars? Just quote in baht
Thanks for the feedback, Keith. It's US dollars. I'm American, and it made sense to me to convert the baht into US dollars; being the world reserve currency, most people have a general idea of how their foreign currency compares. If unsure, use a currency converter app on the first baht you see in a video to confirm it's USD. Then, you know all the numbers in the video are USD. My videos always include Baht for those of us already living in Thailand, while USD is for everybody else. Doing my best to be helpful. 👊🏼
Any nice places with panoramic views???
Yes, there are. Looking for those before the busy season starts in November is best.
thx a lot for your comparison! Especially Gig's size check really did help me. I was thinking about buying one of the two but as my daughter, who is about Gig's size, will also ride it, you answered the question for me 😊
You're welcome; I'm glad it was helpful. 👊🏼
Hey man! Thanks for the great video and information, I just moved with my wife to Phuket from Shanghai. We are planning to get a bike to ride it from home to her work and explore around, nothing fancy but something good for two people. Any toughts in what to get at this time? I will be interested in something used, but seems that get a new bike here is the rule. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
You're welcome! I have a friend working in Shanghai. I recommend the ADV160. Phuket is where I first rode the previous model, ADV150, in 2021. I've ridden many motorbikes in Thailand, and the ADV160 is still my favorite everyday ride. I found used and new sales prices to be very close. If I were buying used, I'd buy it from an Expat. From what I've seen, they take much better care of equipment.
can sublease? like if i rent for a couple years, but sometimes when i am out, want to sublet?
Subleasing should be fine in most units as long as the rent is paid on time, the tenant is respectable, and the unit is well-kept. Allows negotiate that with the landlord, of course.
Loved the 1 bedroom in the last one.
👌🏼
This is THE BEST REVIEW I ever watched! Man you really know what your dooing and its exciting to watch. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! 🙏🏼
these places are dope for real gonna rent something these when i touch down
Excellent!
Great video!!!
Thank you! 👊🏼
You confirmed what I thought. Thx. Sadly.. it appears the 350 will never come to the Philippines.. I'm kind of stuck with XMAX
Same reason I have an XMAX 300 in the US, no ADV 350.
@JakeSnowLiveSimple why do they even make them if they can't be purchased. I can get a ADV X here..but way too big for my needs..
I'm surprised the X ADV is available there but not the 350.
These prices make this a hard choice! I need AC but no gym or pool seems like a wasted opportunity. 🤔
Many available units in Thailand fit what you're looking for.
I'd like to know if there's a pool early, it's part of my retirement fitness plan.
@@Jasminebed2 Many pools are open by 7:00am at the condos with pools.
Great review comparison 👍🔥. Thanks
Thank you!
Yes excellent video you are an AWSOME presenter you must of bin a car salesman.fast to the point ,very informative love the brake down of prices . Can you do one on Cambodia im thinking of retiring there have you ever bin there?thanks 🇨🇦
Thank you! I've never been a salesman; I try to keep the videos short. Rambling annoys me. I'll make a Cambodia condo video when I travel there again. I was last there with Gig in 2019. Cambodia felt like being in South America. I had to be much more vigilant when traveling there.
Amazing video, keep posting like this specifically in Vietnam thanks
Thanks! I'll make a Vietnam condo video the next time I'm there. It's one of my favorite travel destinations.
I would like to listen to the original audio at 1:47
The unedited audio had too much wind noise. My voice couldn't be heard over the wind and engine. In later videos, I stopped talking while riding.
After I get my affairs in order. Bye bye America!
👌🏼
I liked this video. The last one was the best.
Thank you for the feed back. 👊🏼
Cool video. I am thinking of getting a 160 in a couple of years.
Thanks! It should be easy to find a good deal on a used one by then.
great review, greetings from germany!
Thank you! 👊🏼
Que altura y peso tienes? Yo 1,85m y 95kg y me pregunto si no es una moto pequeña para mi.
I'm 1.8 meters tall, and weigh 83.9 kg. I believe this motorbike will be a comfortable size for you.
Thank you sir, lots to think about and GREAT PRICES!
You're welcome! 👊🏼
I subscribed. Thank you for showing the US price! Please show places that take pets.😊
Thank you, and you're welcome.
Anglosaxon or russians colonization. Worst thing ever.
Ok?
Cant wait the Xadv 350 launch in Malaysia!
I looks like there will be 4 color options in Malaysia. 👌🏼
super useful video thanks man!
You're welcome! 👊🏼
I pay 400 baht a month unlimited 5g with true. 20k or 35k baht??? What a rip off compared to the 6-8000 baht places 😝
That's a good price for 5g with True.
it seems so easy to do everything in Thailand. dang! I may sellout of Texas and the states. Take my money and move somewhere else for a while, this looks too fun. I want a scooter and cheap Thailand everything. You're living the dream.
So far I haven't encountered anything difficult, or at least what I would consider difficult.
Jake you make me want to move. The American dream feels like fools gold now. I am considering selling my house and land and leaving the states. The culture in Thailand and cheap prices really make it appealing. Good channel you have going! I hope you are happy there!
I feel very fortunate to live in Thailand. The freedom I experience here reminds me of growing up in the US during the 1980s.
no botox lips. lol i agree, good call!
Botox lips freak me out. 🤢 lol
great job with the wifi speed test... great questions man, thanks
You're welcome, and thank you!
What’s that stupid whistling music in the background?
There's 5 different tracks in this video. I think the whistling tune you like is "Sunday Shopping".
You should have mentioned if the 2 bedroom had 3 aircons..
AC vents throughout. You can see the intake vent in the kithcen ceiling in the video. The unit gets alot of sun but it was perfectly and evenly cooled inside; central air.
Been thinking about making the jump to Thailand, but on the fence about it
I eased into it. Spending more time in Thialand every year.
Mooie video, maar waarom draag je geen beschermende kleding, zelfs geen handschoenen. Kortebroek en een T schirt dit is toch wel het laatste waar je aan moet denken als je een schuiver maakt, vooral bij hoge snelheden. Groeten.
It's best to wear protective equipment, but everybody goes native evenually when living in Southeast Asia. The heat makes everybody a little crazy.
Bullshit! 7 and 8 baht per unit for electric and 35 for water ??!! That’s where the owners are going to cheat you !!! You might a well live in a higher standard place and pay the normal 4 baht electricity per unit!!! Don’t be fooled, that 2 or 4 baht difference per unit will add another 2 or 3 thousand baht to your total bills!only ok if you rent for a month or so, no more !
👌🏼
I know where im moving too next!!! HERE I COME LADYBOYSSSS.......LMFAO
They're in the US, so travel won't be needed.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple I want it straight from the source
😆
Fantastic review. 🎉 The word ‘OBLIGATED’ got me thinking hard for my next choices of bikes. Thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you, and you're welcome. 👊🏼
