  very interesting video. Is it possible that the tasks from the Kanban also appear in the Planner? With /task the tasks are displayed directly in Planner/ToDo. Unfortunately I can't do this with /kanban.

  Thought I was clever by changing from "Link preview" to "URL", edit the URL and change the "Display text"... but then, when you click the link, it opens the page in a new/external browser window 🙄 I really like the automatic "Table of contents" but wish there was an option for a "global TOC" and that you can easily refer to "Headings" on the same or a different page, ideally with the "@" command how you can refer to a page (or external document). On a different note, do you by any chance know when "mermaid" support is coming to the Code component aaaaand, do you you know it it'll actually render the diagrams in the Code component?

  I love the kanban component just as it is. The only thing I miss is that they don't sync with planner. I love using planner on Teams as my central hub for everything task related assigned to me.

  Love the linking. I agree that in the call out main detail page, you would need to stress no dates on it and use the kanban card / table and also indicate that the page is a child of the Kanban card. Also linking back to the board task from the child detail page is needed. It’s something i have always done in notebooks with pages and sections and paragraphs as is saves a lotta time

  Great video - comment about 2:10 Can't you start a checklist list in a text column (while in a table) by hitting / and then Checklist (or did I misunderstand your point). Also it would be cool to add a back link to the first page from the subpages.

  Thank you Rob. When adding a checklist to a text column, you will have to add it manually to each new row you add. I found that the checklist column in the Kanban component adds the checklist to each new row. Great idea about the backlink to the Kanban page. I should create a page template with the backlink. Then use the template for each new item.

  @@DarrellaaS I think I'm finally getting your point (which is a good one). If you want to have checklists in your table - start with a Kanban board and then customize the columns if needed. To continue this thought - use Task List if you want it to connect to Planner (ToDo) - use Voting Table if you want bullet points. Progress Tracker can also have Checklists (blockers)

  Well done explaining flagged messages. Do you know if you can share your flagged tasks with others. I know that you can share a list in Microsoft To with others but tried to click Flagged, then share, and added the email. If it works, game changer for a team working from a shared email.

  I have an important question: if I set my working hours in outlook, but then a coworker tries to schedule a meeting with me in Teams when I’m out of office, will it show me as unavailable or indicate to them that they are scheduling a meeting with me that goes outside of my normal working hours that I’ve set in outlook?

  Thanks, Beth. To get buckets to show I have to use a Label column type. Then assign some of the items in the table with the label. You can change the view from Table to Board using the icon on the top left corner of the component. But if you want items to show up in To Do, you must use the task list component. Items that are assigned to you or show up in your assigned to me view in To Do.

  Very week version of Azure DevOps. Especially if you want yo to manage portfolio of projects ADO is the way to go.

  Keep using ADO for your advanced needs. Microsoft had planned for an ADO component. It would sync a limited number of items from an issues list into a workspace page. But that component must be on the backlog.

  This was a great video. Any idea when this will be available? It seems like it is now available to some users, but I don't see the new option to share externally either, still only "Share with specific people you choose inside of [organisation], using their name, group, or email." under People You Choose. I haven't been able to find any clear statement about rollout timeframe though.

  If you cant see the planner Task: Create a new Task Board, not an kanban board. :) The Taskboard can be switched to a kanban view

  Thanks for sharing these insights. Loop is a great tool when you're bound to Microsoft. It's actually the most modern tool I've ever seen from Microsoft, of course inspired by Notion. Even though I appreciate this workaround, I truly hope Microsoft will come up with a native solution soon to integrate Loop workspaces into Teams. Regarding required effort, it's too much for us to have OneNote as a bridge, which hopefully isn't necessary anymore in the near future. 2 issues based on your video: - The online version of OneNote supports Loop components, while the desktop app (Mac) doesn't yet. - Loading the Notes tab in Teams with embedded Loop components gives an error: "Couldn't authenticate. Please enable popups in your browser to continue.".

  Been using the system for over a week now and I love it! If Microsoft restores the "Focus" time and conditional formatting calendar options missing from New Outlook, this will become a close to perfect way for me to manage my calendar. Thanks again for sharing this idea 😊

  We can't mark task completion, so without deleting the task completely and losing visibility, Assigned to owners keep getting notifications that their task is due or overdue.

  Hi Jennifer. The Task list component syncs with a plan in Planner. Have you tried completing the task from there?

  I did try that, marking it complete in Planner. It didn't solve the notifications, so we just created another non-task table below and copied completed items there, deleting the completed tasks from the Tasks. It's a bit annoying, but it doesn't keep me from using Loop overall. I love it!

  Thanks for this video! It's understandable not to allow sharing the link to people outside the org, but one thing would be great: being able to allow a whole domain! We would like to make Workspaces in which we can create How-Tos and other stuff for our customers, so being able to allow their domains once and for all would be cool 😊

  I don't know if Microsoft saw this hack as a software error, because now I can't seem to duplicate the linked page. It keeps giving me error messages. Is there perhaps another way to either move a page to a new workspace without the link or archive it somehow?

  The Loop app has an area for notifications. Check under the notification bell for task assignments. You can also click your cursor on the name of the task and see who edited / created it, using the attribution pop-up.
