How long will this 72amp battery last on a single charge? Should you power off the battery (through battery on/off button) when finished riding cart?
I like how you don’t spend 4 hours blabbing and do some random action shots in between it makes the videos so much more watchable than other people
2:08 Those high altitude kits are smaller jet sizes. Elevation increases, air density decreases, causing an over rich condition. 6:08 You literally just presented wrong information. Expect to drop 1-2 jet sizes for Colorado. The reality is these engines are set to run stupid lean from the factory. You opening up the factory jet for 900 ft is indicative of that. That same engine at 3k feet would be perfectly happy. At 5k feet it might be on the rich side, but probably not horrible.
Of course it's the same top speed the motor is not turning any faster RPM. With the increased power you can now change your gear ratio
What’s the name of the air filter kit?
Watched this whole thing. I don’t even own a golf cart 😂😂
Hey curious, did you remove the governor inside the motor on this? I have a stock 670 in a txt, stock rear end, 23 inch tires and I get about 32 mph top speed and was able to tune the stock carb pretty well.
Thanks for the video guys. I have a battery powered cart and I will be using your video as a guide. I might have to cut in to where the electric motor meets the gears for the rear, not sure yet. other than that, your vid makes this fun project even more fun. The hoarding clip, lol.🏁
Gooooo Lions!
You failed to mention the rear suspension. Icon has coil over shocks vs leaf spring.
Thank you. I have a 04 turf 2 thatvim trying to troubleshoot this same problem
I am planning a swap with the 459, is the 459 you installed a hemi? I see vegas carts says not to use them but i see many people using them with a vegas kit on other channels.
Great swap! How would you swap a 459 into a Yamaha since the primary and secondary are on the other side? Seriously considering
We just got done with a yamaha install. When installing the motor the head of the engine will go towards the rear end. Making the clutch on the same a side. Install was fairly simple depending on what year yamaha cart you have.
Your option sucks!
Sure can what year?
The icon is ugly! Evolution looks better!
Just bought a 2024 evolution... flaminco red and it's amazing!!!!!
I couldn't watch it your constant camera movement and speeding up slowing down instant replay fast forward camera "techniques" made me puke about 10 mins into it
Just bought the evolution 4 plus I’m so impressed with it 😍😍😍😍😎😎😎😎
What are your thoughts on Evolution lithium battery packs as a stand alone addition to another golf cart?
There are better options out there when i comes to batteries. Eco, Allied, Bolt all good companies that stand behind their products.
@@CartPerformance I’m buying a used 2010 Club Car and the owner installed a 48v Evolution lithium battery in 2022. I was wondering if that should last me at the very minimum a few years before I have to install a “better” brand.
Will this work the same on a 6x8v set up?
yes. Comes with 48 to 12 volt converter
Can you put a starter on them?
they come with electric start
Just wondering if you guys did any kind of break in on the 459? I have read everything for just put in and go to run 10 minutes change oil and run 1:30 at idle then 1:30 at half, change oil…
Yes we do the break in on the engine bench before we install in the cart. It's good to change the oil a few times on new engines to get all the small metal shavings of a new engine out.
I have a stupid question can you do a "what electric Motors to look for/teach us dummies that don't know nothin" I love electric power but I wanna build a sick ass dragster kart finding a go kart on market place stretch it widen the rear and find like a 100lb electric industrial motor like a big one lol but would that even work??
My knowledge is more in the golf cart stuff. I could tell you all the parts you needed to make it work on a go kart frame. Would be a similar setup as the cart in this video.
Ever swapped an electric Taylor Dunn utility cart to Predator gas?
We have not. I am sure it's doable with some fabrication work.
Wow
Wow is RIGHT brad Temple. WOW
where can we hind the parts you used?
send me a email with what you need. [email protected]
Love it lol😄🤣
Thanks for the watch!
Or you could just unplug the beeper under the back end of the cart and install backup lights instead.
We have seen the videos. This was a short video for anyone with a 2023 or older card for a quick way to remove the alarm.
Thanks for the video
Our pleasure!
Top Speed?
25
These are cheap and dangerous garbage. The OEM is a shit company that tosses SMS and ISO standards out the window. Bad business practices, bad human resource management practices and zero real leadership. I'm amazed they're still in business. Have any doubts? Just ask any of the local cart shops in the Fort Myers area.
Thanks for the feedback we appreciate it!
I would take the old motor.
Whats wrong with the old motor.
Blown up and not worth the cost of a rebuild. It's a parts motor for us now.
Is there no reverse?
Reverse is still fully functional
Where are you out of I have ezgo with Yamaha in it needs new motor with lift kit
Chesterfield MI
Thank you so much I jumped thru some many warm holes and all pointed to that TPS, which shit design 2009-2014 I believe gen 2 had this design to have it all as part of pedal. I am changing solenoid out first but will use this jump trick thank you
Hope the video helped you solve your issue with your cart.
Can a starter be added so when I step on the pedal it starts?
Its possible. We have not put one on a 670cc. We have put them on the 420/459 engines.
Yall looks don’t match the accent 😂😂😂
Such bs test, the ez has small stock tires which gives more tq
Give us another test idea to do.
Insaneier??? 😂😂😂😂😂
couldn't resist to click that video when you seen insaneier!!!!
Next do one with the 670cc :)
We have 2 videos of the 670. kzread.info/dash/bejne/h2d-y6mHdpDcqMY.html
Good thing my computer can mute the music.
Evo looks nicer, and lithium sounds like the way to go
Thanks for the video, installing tomorrow
Heys guys, nice vid. I gave you a sub. I just got the 2024 Evolution Classic 4 Plus. My reasoning: I am a female not into mechanicals, so I wanted the lithium battery. I also wanted the storage compartment because I live near the beach here in Hawaii and can take the cart right down to it with my beach gear, parking under the trees. Most importantly, I wanted new and cheap. These suckers cost double what they do on the mainland. I see they go for 6 or 7 K on mainland? Here, they are 13.5K Your braking demo was important. I will reduce my speed for safety. I looked under the thing, no hanging electrical. The new touchscreen is pretty cool.
What year? Was it a clockwise and You installed counterclockwise?
Year of the cart was 89. Was a counterclockwise rotation.
Awesome build! You should share this on Buggies Gone Wild golf cart forum! NICE work!
Thanks! Feel free to link us in there.
But the price difference is?
Hey i put the same thing in my ezgo marathon 93 wit the 459 kit its all in starts up but i cant get the engine to idle i thinks its the carb but not aure what to so. Help please

Thanks hope this works ill let u guys kno
I'm in the process of putting in a 670 in my ezgo "dump" cart. What size belt did you use? In my other life I build drag cars and some local fabrication. So far this has been a real P.I.A., but we use the cart for everything around the shop, and that P.O.S. Robbin just pissed me off, it's so complicated for a putt putt. But I will finish this but I am going to try to put on a car 2bbl carb. Any ideas? Thanks' for your videos! Jack & Oleta, Von ZICK RACING ENTERPRIZES, Winter Haven, FL.
Jack watch this video for carb ideas for the 670. kzread.info/dash/bejne/h2d-y6mHdpDcqMY.html Belts can be purchased at vegas carts. I would get the motor in there and measurer for right belt length. Make sure you try to find something with the same width for the ezgo. They have a wider secondary clutch.
