Hi Taylor. Did your lease end or did you decide to break it and forfeit your deposit because living conditions in your current place got too frustrating?
How did you find the agent to the owner?
Oh my gosh but we live in the same compound!
Love it Taylor! Love that you found a “new” condo! So glad you took us on your tour!! I’ll be moving to Kuching in November! Hope to meet you sometime! 😘
It all makes sense now.... We thought you were just moving apartments in M City, not to a different place 😂😅
Enjoy your new apartment. It looks very nice.
Mm2h- new policies- out now Nothing new
Seeing all these apartments I am feeling blessed to have what I have.
Yeah, storage room would be a must for me when I search for a new apartment. I’m going to have to do that also in a few months
A dark Hallway for an apartment would definitely put me off. !
I like your cat decoration :) 🐈⬛
Thank you! 😊
Is it normal for Aircons to not go lower than 24 Celsius? That sounds so hot🙈
Most definitely not normal. 😂
KL appears to be so massive with many many differing neighborhoods. Wondering if you could do a video on how best to handle an initial move there (which areas to initially stay) as well as a guide (or perhaps you know of one) to all the neighborhoods and their pros & cons. Your videos have been very helpful. 👍
Looks like a marvelous new place, I thought you were in a new relationship??? Hope that is still going well… the price is fantastic, do you also have a HOA charge???
Owner pays the hoa
Searching for property in Malaysia is very frustrating. Different realtors showing the same exact properties at different prices with different information. We were thinking of buying something there and didn’t simply due to the process
Love your new apt! 🎉
Thank you! 😃
Good choice. I would have made the same one. A balcony is actually a turn-off for me, not a fan of open spaces at height. Good luck with the move 🙏
Interesting the apartment is so reasonably priced. My neighbors are working in Singapore for two years and they told me that their two bedroom apartment is as expensive as an apartment in Chicago
Singapore is way more expensive than Malaysia.
That kitchen is to die for it's TaylorMade😊
The aptm looks fantastic. Here in the UAE we also pay the agent's fees for rentals - seems very odd, you would think the owner should pay them.
Absolutely 😂
Really fun video Taylor! I love your videos. Please do a video on updated immigration policy for US citizen after you get settled and relax some in your new place ❤
Cute place. love the bright floor color as you walk in. Thanks for the video.
Congrats on deciding your future pad. Do let us know of your move experience. Would love to find out the hows and whats of hiring movers and the likely headaches that may come with that process. As you well know a move is stressful in the US, though corporate moves are much less stressful (at least from my past experience). I am glad you didn't choose the apartment building next to the highway. Submicron and exhaust pollutants, and noise pollution from road traffic are major health hazards, even at the 10+ floor. Good luck!
Thanks!
Thank you for your support! 🤗
Re realtors here (at least in KL), my experiences were, if your realtor doesn’t have a unit in the building you want, your realtor has to enquire from the realtor who has a unit in the building you want. The 2 realtors have to share the commissions (you don’t have to pay extra). However some realtors don’t want to share the commission and thus the nonsense of “no available unit” from your realtor can happen. You can always call the realtor listed on the property website (instead of your own realtor). It’s also advisable to check the unit number, sometimes several realtors can be advertising for the same unit. For someone new in town, it’s probably advisable to know the area you want to be in first, then get to know the houses/condos in that area and then do some online searches. Hope this helps.
Good advice! 😊
This is very sound advice, spot on!👍
If it 10th floor or above..maybe windy n fresher ? oxygen from the green areas nearby maybe better...haha
Hi Talor. Congrats on your new apartment. Hope it all works out the way you want it. Is there a maid services available for the place?
You have to find your own cleaning service.
What a beautiful view of the city!
It really is!
How do you find the agent for the owner property?
In the Propery Guru listing.
Lovely apartment ❤
Really interesting, thanks Taylor!
👍👍
I'm so sorry. I feel bad for laughing. "Alight, never mind..." had be in hysterics. You and Earl Grey make a great team.
Lovely place.Full of greenaries and FB Good choice
Yupp, 20 stairs.........it's rather annoying even though 'a couple of stairs a day will keep the doctor away' unless you're a gym guy or sort of......😂😂😂. I'm towards the end of 60's I know very well how our body is doing compared to ten years ago...... good luck!
Thanks!
Thanks for your support! 🤗
Thanks for taking us along on your journey!
For rental property in kl and selangor, the renter is to foot the commission, not rentee. Same with selling the property. The seller is to pay agents commission, not buyer. But rentee does need to pay for rental agreement, or for buying, fees related to buyer. Commission for agent is regulated and its legal.
Congratulations 🎉 A new beginning
I like your choice a lot! You're right, having that built in storage available to you, certainly will make moving in and moving out easier and less costly. A good layout that makes sense for your needs, can take a lot of stress out of relocating. The size and location of the laundry room definitely means you can do laundry anytime with no noise concern. I also like the location of the bathrooms, provides a lot of privacy. I hope you enjoy the swimming!
Bathtub, good kitchen, balcony with view, cold air conditioning and warm swimming. That seems like a lovely list. All features I'd enjoy too!
Ok i will be your chef today 😂
The 3rd apartment is nice, minus the balcony but it’s nice if have one
I hope you will buy an apartment nearby Sarawak River one fine day Andrew and becoming a Kuchingite like other expats...hehehe
Congratulations on your new home, Andrew! 🎉 If I may ask, has your friend, Jeff, gotten his visa approval for MM2H? Thank you
Yes he has!
