    I found each of these exercises reduced the numb sensation I'm feeling currently. Hope it'll help keep it at bay until payday when I can go see a local doc/PT. Incidentally, I think it would be helpful if the video were annotated with separate chapters for each exercise. That way, someone can skip back to the section for the particular exercise easily.

    I tried these and though I felt something up my arms and fingers, it wasn't pain or numbness or anything. Nothing negative. So what is it I have, tendonitis? My elbow hurts at my funny bone and the forearm right near it. No tingling in fingers. Thanks for any help, and the video!

    After a lot of research and consultations with local physiotherapists and trainers to help with my long term back, leg and hip problems, I decided to go with Mart at AMR - A very personable physio with spot-on guidance for safe and progressive independent training - and the first physio I've met that I feel happy and confident to invest in. He sent me this video after the first session at AMR and I'd say it's maybe the best vid on this subject available on the web that I've watched. Perfect! Thanks guys. Looking forward to further guidance and practical sessions with AMR.

    Excellent video. I am a baseball pitcher and have noticed sharp pain when over throwing or using poor mechanics. I have a doctor’s appointment to address the issue, which I am sure is highly contributed to years of surfing and pitching. I appreciate this video for the excellent exercises and education about what might be going on in my shoulder.

    This was a really great video. A few things I'm noticing about this sort of injury - 1. It often goes undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. I see that a lot of folks have experience walking into a doctor's office with this problem, and not getting the proper care they need 2. It's something that you can come back from, with the proper rehabilitation. My experience: I got a type 2 separation on my left side from football, and a type 1 from fighting practice (I fell wrong). With a consistent exercise routine, I was able to kickbox, breakdance, lift my bike overhead and carry it into the shed everyday, and do handstand pushups. I only recently stopped all that cause I'm focusing on raising my kid. My point, is that you can definitely come back from this, with the right care and attention. You got this, fam. I believe in you💪🏾👌🏾

    After it healed up and got back to training do you still have a more prominent acromion bump on the left side? I had some sort of rotator injury (believe it to be from overuse and acute tendinitis) about a month ago and 2 weeks in I notice my acromion sticking up as well. There was never an incident where direct trauma occurred in the area. It was slightly sore for a few days and now kinda just pops sometimes in that area. Just bummed because it’s been a month since I’ve lifted and am less symmetrical than before. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

    What about a MCL injury caused in martial arts sparing, where both persons knees hit each other at each others MCL? 7 months later and only dry needling has made the pain manageable. When the knee is almost fully bent, it feels as if there is pressure under the cap by the MCL. Its exact pain level depends on what I am doing. I can manage a several mile hike with little pain, unless the hike goes uphill for to long. Jumping on on the injured leg will result in to much pain in about 5 hops. Twisting to far will also flair it up. The majority of the pain is always centered where the lower part of the MCL connects to the knee. When severely faired it can feel like it radiates across the lower knee cap. Careful walking, and sitting to let it rest does reduce the pain very quickly. When idly sitting, or laying down, I do not feel anything from the knee at all. Weight resisted side stepping only hurts the injured knee if it is the leading leg pulling me along, not so much when it is the following leg pushing me along. I ask this due to all MCL injury videos seem to only address if the leg bent out to far. This MCL injury was a direct hit to the MCL by someone else's knee, and I can not find any video addressing that. Although I do have a MCL injury the symptoms are not a perfect match to having the leg bend out to far, due to a different way in becoming injured. Do you have any suggestions for this?

  • @AMRPhysiotherapy
    @AMRPhysiotherapy12 күн бұрын

    Seven months is quite a long time, so you would expect the pain to ease by now. There could have been some nerve irritation, bone bruising, or other structures affected besides the MCL. Ligaments are very strong, so a direct blunt impact typically doesn't damage them. Most ruptures and tears occur when the ligaments are stretched beyond their natural length under a heavy load.

    If someone is already doing lower back, glute and hamstring exercises separately, is this stuff important for them to do as well?

  • @AMRPhysiotherapy

    If you are doing lower back, glutes, and hamstring exercises, you are most likely doing some exercises from this list. If not, then these can be nice alternatives when you want to mix things up.

  • @AMRPhysiotherapy

    This could be due to a vascular or a neurological cause. The best is to consult with a medical professional.

    Is it normal to experience elbow crepitus with golfers elbow? I have typical golfers elbow pain which I can't really get rid of (got worse when I rested from the gym), but any pulling or pushing movement causes crepitus in that elbow. Like a clicking/slipping/crunching noise. Could this be from the tendon issues? Nobody can tell me anything. I had an xray and was told it looked pretty normal.
