Oh my word - we just got back from branson last week Saturday. Loved it. We did silver dollar city on Sunday - went to the church service there. So nice. Very family oriented park. Did dolly Parton stampede on Monday. Yes, great show! Horseback riding on Tuesday. Titanic museum and aquarium on Wednesday. Everyone loved these. We did some hiking Thursday morning to a waterfall. Last minute, made a decision to go to sight and sound . They were showing Esther. Probably our favorite thing. It was spectacular. Check that out next time! We also did some go carts. Very fun. We stopped at Laura Ingalls wilder home on the way in. Very cool. We saw all the candy signs too. Didn't stop cause it was a 10 1/2 hour trip home. I did the arch 2 years ago. Yes, tight fit but I'm not claustrophobic so I enjoyed it. I looked at the wax museum but we didn't have enough time - maybe if we come back- I would love to. It's a great city. Not so congested to get around. Oh, donuts and apple turnover - yum! I ate too much too but it was vacation, right?

I'm 80, will have my right knee done in Sept, and except for rides, will be doing this entirely alone. Your videos have been beyond helpful in getting my house and my head together. I am more prepared for "this is going to be much harder, take far longer." I appreciate that you stuck with posting videos for a full year. Thanks.

I’m in 12 weeks right total knee replacement my dr. said 12 til 16 months to fully heal. Hope ur knee straightens out soon . I’m still sore and tight around knee. No feeling on right side of calf. I’m sick of this but dr said I’m doing good. I have been off my walker 6week in ,8 weeks in no cane ,, good luck to you

Well, that gives me some hope anyway. I’m almost at 12 months so maybe it’ll be 16 and I’ll feel better. I hope you get better quickly and not take as long. It is really weird not to feel your calf isn’t it? I’m not sure which is worse, but I guess having the pain before surgery might’ve been worse, sometimes I question it.

I just watched again. During mid video you both have no plays and go back and forth depleting your hand just to draw 5 more. Seems du.mb At each turn draw back up to 5 and play. Seems more sensible Both of you know you are holding 5 cards you cant play and spend 5 turns back and forth getting rid of them to the discard piles. Try my idea.

We reread the rules. And I’m going to quote them verbatim. “Whenever a player plays the last card held in his hand to the table he must be given a new hand, and he is entitled to a new hand as often as this occurs, which may be as many times in succession. When the last card in your hand is played to the reserve, you are not entitled to a new hand until your next turn to play. So basically that’s why they have the stack criss crossed in groups of five cards each because you can’t just pick up one at a time or draw your hand back up. The rules specifically state that you have to wait until you play your last card to get the next group of five. Just wanted to let you know we did look into it and make sure we weren’t doing something wrong. However, there are always house rules, and anybody can do your idea of course. 😊
