maui charges $75 + shipping fees (was $90 + tax for me) which comes with 2 lens replacements, cleaning, adjustment. Think it would be worth paying the $60 more for authentic Maui Jim service compared to these?

Many like to criticize but this is a GREAT video for anyone who wants to do automotive painting for the first time without spending a bundle. I came across a ton of webpages saying, no, you need to remove the entire bumper, sand everything, paint everything, etc. I followed what this guy did and for $25 in primer, paint, and sandpaper have a job that looks really nice (instead of $1000 at a body shop). I just used newspaper around the next panel and taped up the lights. Just be really conservative with the spray and use multiple light coats to help avoid runs. I also used 400 grit sandpaper instead. Great video.

I have the Beat Flex and its just a bit different than these. Instead of this slip-in type of connection, they had a snap-on connector. However, it was still the exact same issue as this guy. When I pulled the wires away from the board, the connector became completely detached. So, I carefully reattached it by lining it up and pressing it onto the board. I could feel it snap into place. After that, I tried the headset again, and lo and behold, it worked!!

1. Always tape off areas you don't want paint on. Don't care what the situation is. There is zero reason to be sloppy. 2. Sand the surface down. Depending in how deep the scratches are you may need Bondo. 3. Use alcohol to wipe down the surface and clean it. Then use a microfiber towel and get any remaining dust off. 4. TAPE OFF THE AREA YOU ARE WORKING IN TO AVOID OVERSPRAY. 5. Spray a decent amount of primer down. Let dry. 5. Wet sand with high grit sandpaper. 6. Dry off and clean surface again. 7. Spray base color and get a decent layer on one at a time. For the love of God don't do what this guy did. Everytime I see runs from a can on a car I cry. You should not be spraying that close with that can. 8. Once your entire base coat step is complete, Spray over with 2K gloss clear and hardener. It's in one can. Failure to do this will result in your paint peeling off and away and not being protected. Now you know.
