  Dude! You're a beast on that thing!!! While you make it look easy, I know better! That's tough terrain to go anywhere near that fast. I love my XR and I'm just a newb rider

  The shop just installed new rear SKF bearings on my 650L but the wheel doesn’t spin as freely as yours by hand. Should the centres of the bearings be super free moving? Mine had a little resistance when I put my finger in the centre hole and spin

  Wow sorry for your loss. Animals are just like family for sure. Love the trails you’re on. Them are for you not me. I’m a level 1 for the dirt anyway. 65 in 3 months. Love watching and will take my xr650l in areas of looseness but not there. Anyway to take care and we all will get through the mess that the world is in. Just enjoying life right now.

  This was a very helpful video. Thank you for spreading your knowledge! No doubt you'll help more than a few from taking damage they otherwise would have. Your riding gear is also badass! I tried finding it in the Klim catalog but can't find anything like it, especially the top. Do you know what it is called by any chance? It would be awesome to invest in something similar since my old body can't take any more damage. I have a nice helmet, boots, goggles and pants, but a top like that would be choice. Thanks again!

  Great video, about sprocket, I did change mine after hearing and seeing that damage. Bought it on eBay. 29 bucks. Not bad. Shoot I drank out of puddles in Miami Florida in the seventies. 10years old and adventurous. Healthy today and 3 months from retirement. Life is good. And having fun on my 2012 Honda XR650L. Love the videos.

  So... did you find any mushroom? ehehe 😁In my place, mushrooms pop-out during heavy rain and thunderstorms in the sugarcane fields. Either way, I'm a street rider (casual one) and all my bikes are/were. Since the pademic (covid), I went home in the country side, and given the chance of working remotely from home up until now. I lived in the city since ten. God how I miss and love the rural living compared to the cruel city. And the road... is not as forgiving as yours 😅I bought the Honda CRF 300L Rally and still learning 'how to' dirt bike. It's fun and more challending than street, at least for me. This channel is a nice find. Learned a lot from it.

  I've riden a new husky and a 01 cr250. I don't get the $12,000 price tag on the husky. It has zero character and in a few years it will become the equivalent of a 10 year old European car... The Honda will stand the test of time. If you can get over the long first gear you'll be OK. Out here in the desert it works great.

  You rock.. thank you for your riding tips. Love all your videos and follow you. I’m in Florida and bought a 2012 xr650l. Mostly ride on the street. I am getting use to the dirt. Been riding for 40 years but on the street. Mainly riding sport bikes and cruisers, Harley,s. Own an Indian, chieftain and just bought my Honda 2012 Honda xr650l. Love it. Want to learn it. Would like to find a good street/ dirt tire. Take care and enjoy your vedios.

  Man I miss my XR I smoked my second deer going across a bridge and wrecked the ol 650 and I almost died completely geared up hit the deer and the guard rail luckily i didn’t go over into the river just haven’t had a bike since one whole season no riding!

  Im concerned its too stiff for off road. I like my kdx200 with .43 spring rate race tech springs on the forks with 10 weight oil. Your thoughts? I weigh 185 without gear, 50 years young, advanced intermediate rider.

  Why the hell would you want the bike. Because its still fast then anything new on the market with a few mods and reliability iv had mine since i was 12 im now 28 and iv had to do the top end 1 time because someone swapped my fuel on me before a ride
